Governor Christie likes to say he is limited in what he can do to defend the second amendment in New Jersey. He’s got this Democrat legislature problem, and they aren’t going to do what he says he wants. But what if he could do something without the legislature that would ensure that every law abiding citizen in New Jersey who wanted to obtain a purchase permit of carry license in the Garden State could at least get their requests processed in a timely manner? What if he had the power all along to correct an institutional injustice that was running rampant across his state; a problem that was preventing law abiding citizen from exercising their second amendment rights?

And would his failure to address it speak to the seriousness of his claim as a defender of the second amendment?

Carl Robert Gibson is an interstate Democrat activist vote thief caught by The Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers. He is awaiting trial on a different matter, a felony Voter Suppression charge regarding his May 2015 fraudulent press release wherein he claimed to be a Republican candidate for the office of State Rep. in a Candia, Deerfield area Special Election.

Gibson claimed to a news source after he was arrested that it was nothing more than a prank. He is also claiming to live in Concord. That is not true. He is not a resident or domiciled in NH.

I just don’t understand the hoo-ha over Bernie Sanders who is about as Communist / Socialist that has run for US President since Eugene Debs (even as Hillary is trying hard to out-Left him).  Socialism has NEVER worked, but I guess that with the “divide everyone” war on American citizen by Obama and the nonstop “I will give you” of other peoples’ money.  LIVs all around and not a single set of their eyeballs to watch the eventual meltdown that comes – Venezuela that finally awoke from its torpor and misery and kicked the Chavista socialists out of power in the legislature.  John at Powerline has this observation (emphasis mine):

Yesterday WMUR released an update on their campaign reports in which they discuss the dueling petitions between incumbent Senator Kelly Ayotte and Governor Maggie Hassan, running for the same seat. Apparently each candidate has a petition out this week. Hassan’s is about taking rights away from innocent people on the ‘No Fly List’ and Ayotte’s is about opposing the Nuclear Iran Deal. They both smack each other around in their petitions.

In what is an historical race, the first time in New Hampshire history that two women are running for the same United States Senate seat, it’s also the most pathetic. Neither candidate has represented their constituents during their time in office. Hassan has been a horrendous governor and continually ignores the will of the people by vetoing bills passed with bipartisan support in both houses. Ayotte has gone off the rails recently and started voting even further left than she normally does.

Police investigating the Paris terror attacks have shut down three mosques in a series of raids to close the net on Islamic extremists, the Express reports.  Police in France also arrested the owner of a revolver found during Wednesday’s raid, France’s Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said.  Security officials found jihadist documents at the mosque where yesterday’s raids took place.  They have placed nine people under house arrest. Another 22 have been banned from leaving the country Mr Cazeneuve said.

…He said: “In 15 days we have seized one-third of the quantity of war-grade weapons that are normally seized in a year.”

In one of Grant Bosse’s UL editorials this morning he takes Sen. Jeff Woodburn to task for exaggerating the value of Medicaid expansion. He’s right to do so but did he intend to sell another lie about the expansion in the process? (Emphasis mine.)

Expansion supporters like Woodburn will have a chance to make their case in January that putting New Hampshire taxpayers on the hook for a small portion of the program’s cost is a worthwhile investment.

They will be hard-pressed to show it’s made any progress in fighting drug addiction.

It has not, but is that worse than selling the idea New Hampshire taxpayers will only shoulder a small portion of the cost?
