Democrats are flipping out over what Ted Cruz said about neighborhood policing as a potential means to deter terrorism. This is actually great news. The basis of education is the ability to take facts, string them along in a coherent way such that critical thinking can produce an intelligent conversation. I like listening to reasoned intelligent people discussing complex issues.

As federal land rights issues escalate all over the U.S., we are holding a rally for concerned citizens from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 23rd outside the N.H. State House in Concord. Our purpose with this rally is specifically to protest increasing federal acquisition of private lands in NH to the detriment of NH property owners and communities.
In June 2006, a 54-year old Flemish train conductor called Guido Demoor got on the Number 23 bus in Antwerp to go to work. Six – what’s that word again? – “youths” boarded the bus and commenced intimidating the other riders. There were some 40 passengers aboard. But the “youths” were youthful and the other passengers less so. Nonetheless, Mr Demoor asked the lads to cut it out and so they turned on him, thumping and kicking him. Of those 40 other passengers, none intervened to help the man under attack. Instead, at the next stop, 30 of the 40 scrammed, leaving Mr Demoor to be beaten to death.
HB636 This bill limits forfeiture to cases in which the state has found by clear and convincing evidence that the property was derived from, or used in, the commission of a crime. The New Hampshire Legislature is preparing to vote on a bill tomorrow that legalizes a form of gender and viewpoint discrimination. Here’s how it works.
If your child (anyone under the age of 18) has wondered whether or not they are, in fact, heterosexual it could be illegal under HB 1661 for any “professional” to counsel them in any way that would encourage that–for lack of a better word–journey to their biological roots. The bill also prohibits any and all state-funded support for this purpose.
But if your child wondered if they may in fact “be” something other than heterosexual, counseling them in any way that does not encourage that journey, would definitely be illegal under HB1661.
A GoBankingRates.com survey (fixed link) awarded New Hampshire the honor of being the cheapest state in the nation to own a car. This cost of ownership is based on expenses in the first three years after you buy so no, the purchase-price is not part of the calculus. But according to GoBankingRates.com, U.S. car owners will pay an additional $11,227 on average to buy and own a car for three years on taxes, title and other point-of-purchase fees, registration fees, gas, car insurance, and other maintenance costs.
In New Hampshire the average cost was over three-thousand-dollars less.

A.J. Spiker, past chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa and a former senior advisor to Sen. Rand Paul’s presidential campaign, said the RNC is against Trump because he has not taken any special interest money, which would secure RNC influence over the president.
“He is not beholden to them,” Spiker said. “These are people you wouldn’t even want looking after your children.They are deadbeats. The RNC wants someone in the office they can have influence on. With Trump they would have no power. They would rather lose the election and keep the power of the Republican Party rather than win the election where they have no power.”

. . . on today’s Morning Joe, Nicolle Wallace, citing GOP consultants, suggested that–other than social conservatives–Republicans concerned with foreign policy should consider supporting Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump. Hillary supporter Harold Ford, Jr. could be heard chiming in with a “well said.” Wallace was echoing the argument laid out by Joe Scarborough: that on a range of issues from foreign intervention to Israel, taxing the rich to breaking up the banks, Clinton’s positions are closer to those of the GOP establishment than Trump’s.
