It’s just being reported that Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has been charged for allegedly assaulting reporter Michelle Fields.

The campaign manager of Donald Trump has now been charged in alleged battery in connection with an altercation with a former Breitbart reporter.

Recall I wrote a scathing rebuke about Trump’s despicable reaction regarding this issue:
This is a man who wants to be the leader of the free world and rather than simply say ‘we’re looking into the incident’ he says this woman simply made the story up?
How the hell can anyone justify that response? Trump could have given a non-response response to at least pretend he cares that there was a potential assault on a woman attempting to ask him a question.
Whether he believes her or not isn’t the issue. Whether Lewandowski grabbed her or not isn’t the issue.
It is HOW TRUMP REACTED that is the issue.
And it speak volumes about the kind of person he is.
