Newly approved plan relies on voluntary contributions from hospitals, insurance carriers.  New Hampshire’s newly reauthorized Medicaid expansion is riding on a hope that hospitals and insurance carriers will voluntarily help foot the bill, or else it’s doomed.  Legislation Gov. Maggie Hassan signed into law Tuesday, which continues the expansion for two more years, relies on those organizations to voluntarily donate an estimated $40 million to the state to help fund the program’s operation.

Really?  Are both Parties that insane to think that a major program is at the whim of a group of large corporations (face it, most hospitals are the biggest businesses in their regions) thinking “should we or should we not”?  Or what’s really going on under a quid quo pro?  Who really benefits?

Mississippi passed a religious conscience law for Christians. (Muslims already get 1st amendment protection for their religious objections so they don’t need this.)

The new protections have rankled the sensibilities of once-upon-a-time-more-well-known-rock-star Bryan Adams who has refused to perform in the State because he thinks it would be inappropriate. People might have their civil rights discriminated against (by Christians) because they are gay. The irony? Adams just toured Egypt last month.

Being gay isn’t technically illegal there but it is, after all, a Muslim country so gays are arrested on euphemistic charges like “debauchery.” Punishment can be harsh too: The CNN story at the last link mentions one sentence of 12 years. Egyptian police are known to pose as gay men and women on gay dating apps like Grindr to try to entrap locals; humiliations like anal probes also aren’t unheard of during arrests.

Yep, that would be Hildabeast as she runs to be Prez simply because of her lady parts (ok, a majority part of her “appeal” is based on that – and appeal is in the eye of the beholder, I guess).  Anywho, she’s been carboning up the US air as she criss-crosses the nation in her private plane preaching the utter ignominy of the so-called “female pay gap” of 77% of women to men.  We’ve talked about this before and when controlling for all variables, the gap can oft be explained by choices that men make for jobs vs those for women, the hours worked, the dangerousness of the job and the phrase “don’t become a teacher, become a chemical engineer”.

I digress.  So, what is Hillary doing to back up her campaign rhetoric?  Um, making herself into what my days as being a Sunday School teacher would call “an object lesson”:
