Being a progressive means never having to make a damn bit of sense. We know, for example, that the left would never force a Muslim baker to bake a cake for a gay wedding or expect them to allow transgenders to use the ladies room. No fines, no arrest, no Gaystapo intimidation campaign to destroy them or run them out of business. Christian’s get “lions.” This is what the left calls ‘equal treatment under the law.’
Of course it’s not fair, it isn’t meant to be, but the unpredictable nature of this ‘system’ lends itself to interesting, and potentially amusing, conundrums. For example, if there is a woman’s right to privacy in the Constitution does that mean that transgenders can’t use the bathroom at the Planned Parenthood?
