60 Seconds with Mike Rogers

Mike Rogers begins to sketch out some comparisons between the Establishment reaction to the campaigns of Trump and Goldwater. Listen to Podcast #160 for the complete interview or watch for her segment later today.

Clinton thinks 40 years of the Hyde Amendment is enough

I posted this at DaTechGuy Blog. Let me add that Maggie Hassan is all in with Hillary Clinton in opposing the Hyde Amendment. Not long after Roe v. Wade federalized abortion policy, Members of Congress led by Henry Hyde moved to prevent federal funds from being used for abortions. The Hyde Amendment was finally added to … Read more

Venezuela Isn’t Socialist, It’s Capitalist…Right Comrade?

Venezuela has a leftist-run profit-driven CAPITALIST economy. NOTHING to do with socialism (a society with NO ruling elite)! pic.twitter.com/za1PzepTEv — The Socialist Party (@OfficialSPGB) September 27, 2016 Funny how Socialist countries always become something other than Socialist when the poison of its policies rots a society. It’s never really socialism, is it, not according to … Read more

Tweeting out the debate? Er, no. Two words: Glenn Reynolds

No, not happening.  Given what I’ve been seeing with Twitter kicking people off or restricting their tweets from going to their intended recipients, not going to bother any more.  Why should I give them free content and eyeball counts? The final straw was Twitter suspending Glenn Reynolds of Instapudit fame (and whom I use his … Read more

Not my job? It is if you are an elected Legislator!

(former) NH State Rep. Sandra Keans (R, now D): “I don’t try to justify anything by the Constitution, it’s not my job and I don’t want to do it”.

I was asked about that statement (reformatted, emphasis mine):

Your list seems to keep getting longer…I like the way you simply add on…

You quote a statement from Rochester NH’s State Representative and Rochester City Councilor Sandra Keans. You mention she has said “I don’t try to justify anything by the Constitution, it’s not my job, and I don’t want to do it.” If she was asked about this…she would defend herself by saying it’s someone else’s responsibility to pass judgment on Bills etc., through Legal Counsel…

Wouldn’t this make her type of statement true?  To confront her on this would seem to be useless…right? I suspect ALL would use the same justification as her…… Not my Job!

Here is my reply:

60 Seconds With Kimberly Morin

When it comes to gun rights, like most everything else, Democrat policy contradicts Democrat narratives. Kimberly Morin, reporting from the 31st Gun Rights Policy Conference in Tampa, Florida, explains it. Listen to Podcast #160 for the complete interview or watch for her segment later today.

No, I did Not Watch the Debate

gravity-falls

I don’t watch Debates. Boring. Pointless. Rigged, more or less. Little more than a platform from which to launch narratives against candidates who are not progressive enough.

I’m #NeverHillary so why should I waste quality time on blowhards (and the candidates they are tweaking) fishing for tomorrow’s headlines, and (this time around) October’s anti-Trump narratives? A few minutes online and anything new presents itself.

NH Democrats change dinner to honor a womanizer and accused rapist

nhdemsidiocy

Yesterday it was reported by NHPR that the New Hampshire Democrat Party has decided to change the name of their annual Jefferson-Jackson dinner. Apparently they decided to change the name due to controversy about slavery. But who did Democrats decide to honor instead? John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton. A womanizer and a man accused by multiple women of sexual assault and accused at least once of actual rape.

Books and bans and challenges

It’s Banned Books Week, according to the American Library Association. I’ll join the ALA in cheering for free expression and the right to read. Where I part ways with the ALA is where they equate banned books with challenged books. It gets my hackles up when I’m advised not to challenge things. Read more at … Read more

60 Seconds with Ann Corcoran

I asked Ann Corcoran from Refugee Resettlement Watch if there was evidence that the Feds or Agencies targeted specific towns or states for resettlement? (60 seconds) Listen to Podcast #160 for the complete interview.

Scott Adams Switches Endorsement to Trump

trump-dilbertDilbert Creator Scott Adams switched his presidential candidate endorsement to Donald Trump. You can read the entire explanation here, but I happen to like the second one the best. It explains the inherent flaw in Democratic Socialism, by which they mean socialism.

Socialism (regardless of what name it is given) is a fancy way of saying all your stuff belongs to the state. You are incapable of earning anything on your own.  You are incapable of creating anything on your own. Therefore all wealth, property, or the labor expended to create it belongs to the state.

It explains the inherent flaw in Democratic Socialism, by which they mean the economic policies of the Democrat party, by which they mean socialism.
