Bernie Sanders wasn’t kidding when he talked about setting a Revolution into motion.  Problem is, he’s about 140 years late – Joel Kotkin has the observation on our own Mao’s Revolution (emphasis mine):

Too often we are told “let the professionals handle it” and almost all the time, those professionals are from the Government.  And most people, falling under the rubic of the Progressive “technocrat”, simply end up outsourcing their own responsibilities to The State.  And in that process, truly believe that only the Government can solve the important problems.

Everyone associated with the peaceful Bundy Ranch or Oregon Refuge “standoffs” was collected, arrested, and jailed without bail. After months of incarceration, despite a long list of charges, the government still had no case so they tried to get any or all of defendants to sign plea-bargains admitting guilt.

That actually didn’t work out. Defendants refused or were convinced that the government had no case. So the Feds finally put the Oregon defendants on trial for conspiracy and firearms charges. The jury found them not guilty.

Scott Adams of Dilbert fame has been taking it on the chin since he came out for Trump – and has become the object of the typical Internet storm one would expect when someone isn’t supporting the Left asks a question and then answers it (emphasis mine):

“I’ve been trying to figure out what common trait binds Clinton supporters together. As far as I can tell, the most unifying characteristic is a willingness to bully in all its forms.”

If you have a Trump sign in your lawn, they will steal it.

If you have a Trump bumper sticker, they will deface your car.

if you speak of Trump at work you could get fired. On social media, almost every message I get from a Clinton supporter is a bullying type of message. They insult. They try to shame. They label. And obviously they threaten my livelihood.

Heck, as we know here at the ‘Grok, if you are loud and proud of being a Conservative and write or talk about it, you can get fired.  Tick off some “protected sub-sub-sub Democrat identity group” and they will come and find you.

Barack Obama and his defenders incorrectly suggest a racial motive to questions about whether Barack Obama meets the Constitutional requirements to be President and about his religion.  Some suggest that such questions have never been raised about any other Presidential candidate and are only raised about Obama because he is black.  This lie has been repeated long enough.

Questions were raised about the births and Constitutional qualifications of the two previous Republican Presidential nominees, Mitt Romney and Senator John McCain, and about Ted Cruz during this last primary.  The Constitutional requirements are critically important; they were the founders’ attempt to ensure that the President’s only loyalty is to our country and the American people.

The original “Obama birther” is Barack Obama himself.  For more than ten years, for his personal benefit, Obama let stand his publicist’s claim that he was born in Kenya.

On Friday, NPR reported that spending in New Hampshire from out-of-state groups has ballooned to more than $6.5 million dollars this election cycle. One man, in particular, has been on quite the spending spree in the Granite State – New York City billionaire Michael Bloomberg. The only reason Bloomberg would have his organizations spend millions of dollars in New Hampshire is to push New York-style gun control, as Democrat legislators promised at the end of the last session.
