It’s like the TSA of the healthcare industry – lots of people, lots of money, and security kabuki medical theater all around. Well of COURSE if you aren’t doing the vetting, everything costs more less. For years we’ve heard that the Feds can run our large public dole systems (e.g., SS, SSI, TANF, Medicare, Medicaid) for less overhead than what private companies can. Of COURSE they can – while private insurers don’t want to lose their own money, it seems that the Feds have no problem in losing $50-$60 Billion of OUR money and most of that is due to that they do far less fraud detection. And here, with Obamacare registrations, we see the equivalent of the Democrat aversion to checking that voters are valid:
