Here we are, beneficiaries of the Great Obama Recovery® and yet homeownership rates are down among blacks and young adults.
Per a new report from the Pew Research Center, and as our readers are undoubtedly aware, home prices have indeed recovered to pre-recession levels with a little help from Janet Yellen and crew.
That said, the Obama narrative breaks down from there as further research readily reveals that home prices have recovered despite a massive drop in overall homeownership rates.
If we do away with same-day voter registration in New Hampshire with what do we replace it? That’s a great question and the subject of a report on the front page of today’s Union Leader. But not everyone thinks there is a problem. Or do they?
Dartmouth College researchers studied voting practices in three states and last month concluded there was not rampant voter fraud.
One of its authors said getting rid of same-day voter registration here will not make elections any more honest.
I just got through watching the interview that Martha Radditz did with the Liar (“I didn’t give questions to Hillary”) still known as the DNC Chair Donna Brazile. If one ever thought that the Democrats want to make victims out of everyone, you gotta either read the transcript from ABC (after the jump)or watch this clip. She was also set up well by the ABC intro stating “Did the Kremlin want Trump in the White House?” – Democrats with bylines writ large. EVERYTHING has been thrown against the wall hoping that someone would stick – theft, hack, won’t talk to the CONTENT of the emails, disinformation, the media, Podesta falling for a phishing attempt (“click here”), a bad candidate, FBI Director Comey, won’t talk about the Clinton organizations, attacking the Constitution (the Electoral College); you name it, they’re on it for delegitimizing this election. Except saying “We lost”. 2000 all over again.
So, can we say this is also Fake News by innuendo? Is the MSM, Facebook, Twitter, et al going to employ any Conservative third-party agencies to help curate “fake news”?
Raise the minimum wage – who benefits? Mostly unions – after all, they are amongst the most vocal of advocates. Why? Look at the escalation clauses in many of their work contracts.
Does it really help those at the bottom rungs of the economic ladder? Is the minimum wage’s purpose, if you listen to Progressives, is to support a family?
One also has to ask – what about the freedom to contract between a prospective employee and an employer, especially when a minimum wage denies employment to those trying to get a start in the labor market?

I’ll do just that. Yeah, this ranks right up there with Democrats re-writing the definition of the word “access” when it comes to birth control” (e.g., not that you can’t buy it for yourself but “denying access” in Democrat-speak means “they can get it “free” on OUR dime”).
So here they go again. Josh Earnest said concerning the new “rule” that prohibits The Various States from denying Planned Parenthood money (think “strings attached” on steroids). Here, Earnest tries to redefine what Conservatives believe (like they’ve done with the Little Sisters of the Poor Catholic nuns that believe that providing abortifacients is a grave moral sin):
But Constitution, not so much. Nor most of the biz leaders that FastCompany polled in a piece called “How We Should Elect our President in 2016“. It dates back to before the election in November and I just found the page that I ripped out of the magazine. Yes, it does seem that it is rather left leaning but as a former small biz owner, I just wanted to share how well they know how things should work (or in this case, how it SHOULD work in their Progressive world). I disagree that ANY of this would “fix” the system – it is clear that none of them know what the Constitution says nor the ramifications would be to their “solutions”:

Hard to believe, but this bonkers election cycle is nearly over. Here are some ways that entrepreneurs and educators would fix the system.
The left is cycling a narrative around social media suggesting that Russia helped Trump win because of oil money. Russia’s economy lives or dies on the stuff and the higher the price per barrel the better. So Trump and his oil buddies, at least according to this fake news story, are tit for tat behind Russian meddling to defeat Hillary.
The problem with that is this:
America’s private-sector shale industry was the direct and indisputable trigger for the global petroleum price collapse. And we wonder why it seems that much of academia could be replaced with a bunch of monkeys with keyboards? This is just another example of a couple of self-absorbed professors trying to be “higher ed cool” by throwing lots of multi-syllabic words in a string.

New Hampshire will be submitting its November 2016 voter checklist to the Interstate Voter Registration Crosscheck Program. This program compares our list to that of 29 other states. The goal is to look for voters registered in multiple states. We’d like to thank the legislature for making Ed Naile’s job easier.
The crosscheck program has been around for a while. We’ve written about it here and here, and did at least one interview here. And as you’d suspect, according to today’s Union Leader, Democrats don’t like the program, fearing for all of the usual suspects.

I first saw the questionaire that the Trump Transition over at WWUT (Watts Up With That?) – somebody did their homework very, VERY well. From my standpoint, it is WELL overdue to start asking serious and very pointed questions of the Federal bureaucracy about what they do, why they do it, how much it is costing and most important: Where does your authority to do “stuff” and spending OUR money while doing it, issuing legislative rules how we are to live and most important:
From where comes the authority to do these things? Name the statute(s)!

That would be Kathleen Ronayne in a piece in the Concord Monitor, Right to work, education reform top GOP priorities in N.H., listing some topics on which the upcoming legislature will be concentrating. In that one line, she brings up the cognitive dissonance that most Progressives (including Ronayne) see here in NH – “It also sees less gun crime than most other states.” Sacre bleu – how can this be? How can individuals behave properly WITHOUT the steady Hand of government at the helm of everyone’s lives?
That should have been written as:
Whoever it is at the CIA that leaked the Russian hacker story to the Washington Post has suddenly gotten shy.
No one at CIA has any interest in appearing before the House Intelligence Committee with actual evidence of the claim that Russia meddled in the election. Evidence that would make them a secular humanist Demi-God in the Democrat party pantheon with all the commensurate reward.
