The Fraser Institute has announced that in 2014, the last year for which data was available, New Hampshire was the most economically free state in the US. It was followed on the list by Florida, Texas, South Dakota and Tennessee.

The least economically free states were Alaska, California, Hawaii, New York, and New Mexico.
