DC Circus’ ring leader, Slo Joe Biden, has quite a problem on his hands. He kneecapped the domestic fossil fuel industry while Democrats in Congress told Oil CEOs to commit to annual production cuts.
The purpose of all of that is to reduce emissions. You know, so-called CO2 or greenhouse gases that are doing something that requires us to embrace economic Marxism.
Slo Joe cut production, and Congress leveraged political power and intimidation to cut more and gas prices rose. That’s always been the goal. Obama admitted it, as have many others on the Left. We need fuel prices up around 8-10$/gallon.
Gas prices are rising, so what does Biden do?

He blames the oil companies he “sanctioned” by blocking mining permits and blames Putin after he chokes Russian oil we didn’t need when Trump was President and then begs other foreign nations to increase production.
Is the goal to reduce emissions or offshore them?
Or would Jen Psaki like to circle back around and explain how the extraction, transportation, shipping, delivery, and refining of foreign oil doesn’t emit greenhouse gasses?
You probably can’t ask Joe, he’s busy taking a nap, but you might be able to tweak a member of Congress.
Maybe they can explain it.
Why is it better to send US dollars to places like Venezuela and Iran or even Saudi Arabia than keep it in the hands of Americans who need it and jobs (to combat inflation, for example?).
All things being the same, wouldn’t you rather tax increased domestic production to help pay for the trillions you are spending?
And, let’s not forget: how doesn’t foreign oil, which is more carbon-intensive to get to the US than domestic product, produce fewer emissions than American crude?
