Notable Quote – Don’t Let Socialists Define What Capitalism (As in “Greedy Corporations” and Profiteers)

Capitalism

Achieving profits is a condition of survival. Consumers leave no alternative for producers. If the products don’t satisfy consumers, producers won’t cover costs and won’t survive. The drive for profits is compelled by consumer preferences for better or more economically produced goods. Over time, competition displaces less satisfactorily performing producers – those who don’t earn profits.

-Armen A. Alchain and William R. Allen (Universal Economics)

Critical Race Theory, that Cultural Marxism technique of imbuing all areas of our lives, is showing us the main mantra of Marxism / Communism. There are only two types of people: Oppressors and the Oppressed. While Marx and Engels viewed it only from the aspect of economic classes, the Harvard Law School Elites decided to transfer this “struggle” to the color of your skin and set in motion what we are seeing what teachers (being mostly Left-leaning if almost all their donations to politicians go to Democrats/ Socialists are to be used as a proxy) teaching in our Government schools.

Sidenote: I use Government Schools because it is clear that Parents have lost control of them. Indeed, I’m betting that if I started to run down the political affiliations of teachers, the most common Party would not be “Republican”.  And the Democrat Party did say:

“Government is the only thing that we all belong to.

And we on the Right honed into that “belong to” in how the Left truly thinks about it – rather Hobbesian nuanced.  We aren’t a People that happens to have a Government – they are trying hard to flip that all around in that Government is the premier “partner” in all this.  And what they didn’t “get” when it was said, this in a normal state of being. That we AREN’T Individuals – we have no ability to separate ourselves from their collective. I’ll say it plainly and draw some ire: just like the Democrats in the South before the Civil War, and Republican Lincoln issued his Emancipation Proclamation, slavery was fine.  Now instead of plantation owners, Government now should own us all?

A bit of a digression, but that’s OK as this is a blog and not an academic treatise – back to the quote.

The Left has totally flipped the relationship of Producers and Consumers to support their Narrative and Agenda.  They want YOU to believe that the Evil Ones is any company trying to make a profit.  That’s all they exist for in life – to take (or worse) steal your money.

As if they had complete and free access to your wallet.

What the Left doesn’t want you to realize is that CONSUMERS hold the Power – and in their words, can “Oppress” companies anytime they want to.  Flipping their relationship certainly puts a whole new spin on things, doesn’t it?

Consumers determine which companies (big or small) live or die. Companies HAVE to serve Consumers with goods or services that they want.  Shoddy quality, high prices, or stuff offered to consumers that then go “meh – not interested” means Companies die.

Can’t get much Oppressed than that, now, can they?  Going out of business is the Final Oppression.

Profit, instead, is sorta / kinda like the Proclamation – you are free to continue what you are doing as we LIKE it.

And that’s the part the Left hates – the total lack of control (laws and regulations left out of this for the time being). THEY are the real Oppressors in wanting to determine what you buy, the prices you pay, and where you can buy it from.
