Not that this is all that surprising – it is who they are and they’ve been telling us for decades that they like dead babies. If you think that’s harsh, why is it that they’ve been at it so long? And why is it that they all but eliminate (no pun intended) mentions of an innocent? live baby being torn apart in the womb or killed by lethal injection.
Sidenote: and they fight against lethal injection for guilty murderers, especially those that are also pedophiles. Intellectual and spiritual honesty, US Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan (abortionist legislators from NH). Only ONE stood up for these helpless babies (and it was neither of these two cravens, black-hearted politicians.
Reformatted, emphasis mine:
Nearly the entire Dem caucus votes for a bill that would allow termination of a full-term pregnancy
Nearly all Senate Democrats voted in favor of a bill that would allow doctors nationwide to terminate fetuses nine months into a pregnancy.
The Senate on Monday failed to advance the most pro-abortion bill in history, the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would codify Roe v. Wade to repeal all abortion restrictions across the nation. The bill states that doctors could abort babies at any point in pregnancy if they determine a continuation “would pose a risk to the pregnant patient’s life or health.”
“Life or health” – in other words, for any reason that mother wants (e.g., my career, I’m not ready, I don’t have the money, hate the boyfriend/husband (who has NO choice in the matter at all). The mother, except in rare cases, decided to willingly engage in a physical activity that could yield a new Life – a baby. Such is the coarseness of life that the Democrats, in no small manner, have helped to inject into Society. And then they wonder why crime is rampant, why incivility is increasing? Consider this one of the “Broken Windows” of policing adaptations.
The bill was never expected to pass the 60-vote threshold to advance to a vote, but Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) faced pressure from pro-abortion activists and more liberal members of his caucus to move the legislation forward. Schumer said he scheduled a vote in response to Republican efforts at the state level to restrict abortion access, which he called a “downright dangerous domino effect attack on women’s reproductive rights.”
And Schumer, as well as NH’s soy-boy CongressCritters Chris Pappas and Annie “I’m more Progressive than you” Kuster in voting for the US House version, never takes up the cause of the baby. It’s like they consider all unborn babies as potential Republicans – to be dismissed and disposed of by any means possible. Right up to a pre-meditated murder.
“We are here to throw cold water on the flames of anti-women bigotry and affirm five sacred words: Abortion is a fundamental right,” Schumer said last week.
I still challenge him and the other Democrats to point out where the actual enumerated Right is to kill another person is in the Constitution (instead of the smoke and mirrors of a quarternary and misguided reasoning.
Only Joe Manchin voted against it from amongst the Democrats. The only Democrat to say “Each new life is precious”.
The sad part is that he will be excoriated for it.
