CDC’s Latest Tweak to Mask Rules Expose COVID Policy Fraud

For years the CDC has been using metrics to identify counties with a substantial or high risk of COVID infection. Local health enforcers used their guidance to make decisions about public health. But do you realize how insane those metrics were?

A county was flagged as having substantial risk at 50 cases per 100,000. That’s an infection rate of 0.05%. High risk was factored at 100 per 100,000 or 0.1%. That’s one-tenth of one percent. High risk?

Mask mandates and vaccine pimps used this guidance to inform public policy, most of which they had no authority to enforce – at least in New Hampshire. But stepping up to challenge these policies or that guidance got you red-flagged as anti [insert name of thing here]. From old people to cancer-kids to the general welfare of the populace, you were nothing more than a threat to the general welfare and our posterity.

Evil!

But pressure from many directions, including the politics of impending elections, has convinced elected officials to drop mandates even though the old CDC rules tell us that most of the US is still at substantial or high risk of infection.

Under the scheme, over 95 percent of the country on Feb. 25 was labeled substantial or high risk, even though COVID-19 cases have plunged in recent weeks and just 77,458 cases were recorded nationwide on Feb. 23.

After the update, the substantial risk column was removed. Now, just 37 percent of U.S. counties are deemed at high risk.

There are probably more than a few Karens who are losing sleep over this, but many people will take it in stride. Sadly, the way they handled it going the other direction. And that’s the real pandemic. Allowing the State to ratchet down its tyranny upon your choices. Making demands of your life, job, liberty, and person.

Years of expecting our compliance ‘cuz science they just tossed out the window ‘cuz reasons.

The federal agency now says nearly three-quarters of Americans don’t need to wear masks because they live in areas with low or medium community risk from COVID-19.

We reported this past week on the State of New Hampshire deciding that some words that meant the school had the power to mandate masks on your kids no longer meant that. It’s reminiscent of the narrative about smokey backrooms where cigar-smoking white men reeking of single-malt scotch decided things for the rest of us.

We were supposed to oppose that sort of thing.

These days you are not allowed to resist (treason!), but it’s the same picture, only this one is dogs playing cards in white coats betting on your livelihood and liberty, but now, thanks to the new CDC rules, they don’t have to wear masks until someone decides that they do.
