A recent post from Skip, Data Point – Country GDP by size presentation, reveals either the lunacy … or the DISHONESTY … of those telling us that the greatest foreign threat America faces is Russia. Compare the GDP (the economic output) of America and Russia using this chart from Skip’s post:
The Russian economy is not even ten percent the size of the American economy. Russian defense spending is less than a tenth of ours. The vast majority of Russian tanks and planes consist of obsolete Cold War equipment. And if you think the Russians can compensate for these disparities by sending hordes of cossacks across the Bering Strait to overwhelm us with sheer numbers, think again: Russia’s population is less than half that of the United States.
The ONLY … I repeat ONLY … way that Russia would be a threat to us is if we create a situation where Russia believes it must use nuclear weapons to defend itself. A MUST-READ thread:
The conventional wisdom is that we're headed for a second Cold War with Russia.
I disagree. We're flirting with a hot war.
It could involve nukes. Billions of people could die. 🧵

The security of this country does not depend AT ALL on Ukraine maintaining its present borders.
The border that matters is our own border with Mexico, where the Biden regime refuses to follow the law and has opened the border with the purpose of creating millions of new Democrat voters and de facto permanent Democrat political control of America. The Biden regime … with its open southern border, politicized DOJ, COVID purge of the military, inflationary spending, attempted rigging of elections, etc. etc. etc. … is a far, far greater threat to the American system than Putin.
