Whereupon I Am Still Living Rent Free in Brentwood Democrats Heads – The “Scarecrow” Edition

UPDATE: A couple things have been edited (sharp eyes, our readers have!). Goober for Gubnor’s name is Jon, not Jim. Goober, however, still applies. Some punctuation, changed a line that might lead you to believe that Liz sent the pic instead of Bob; she’d find any reason to kvetch anyways.

This video is SO hilarious from my perspective!  And all because an anonymous tipster sent those two images to me with no words needed.

Maybe read “Busted in Brentwood” first (or again if you have already read it).

I swear that these people have something wrong with them. It’s a CLASSIC example of how small town Democrats think they are larger than they are, that their small town is really a city, and that a post intended to illustrate someone’s mask hypocrisy was just that – a single event on a single item.

But, per the Right’s stereotype of the Left, they decided to make it MORE than just that demonstrating one of the normal attack strategies against someone that thought he was taking a picture of a scarecrow that was masked and goggled up in the corner of a meeting room during a Board of Selectmen meeting (see image, above).

Sure, it’s grainy and I kept wondering what it was but the point was to illustrate that Letty Bedard was a hypocrite concerning masks.  She outed herself in the image in that previous post as she POSTED that she was from Brentwood – how much easier can it be?

But I didn’t know she was a School Board member – much more delicious.

And of course, in this video (below), we have the Censorship Couple “Liz McConnell  – (aka “The Grok Squawker”) and Eric Turer that tried to shut down the Brentwood Newsletter for posting her voting record via GraniteGrok.

And a celebrity cameo walk-on by former NH State Senator and current Brentwood Board of Selectmen Jim Jon “Goober for Gubnor” Morgan who was so high on his horse he had to be perched on a Percheron but I digress.

Back to the video – my takeaways as the video proceeds:

• The Setup: Andy Artimovich immediately put the intended victim into defensive mode by placing the motive of the picture taker of “playing dirty politics”; saying “like a little kid took it to hide it” was a dead giveaway that a hit piece has just been launched.
• Bob Mantegari immediately ‘fessed up – the scarecrow is funny. And I can do this – it’s a public meeting
• Loved the way that Bob said that if someone is offended, that’s their problem. I agree; if you got offended, you need to control your own emotions – it was just a pic that had the Troublesome Trio in it.
• what came next is a PERFECT use of the faux Democrat outrage to force their victim into a corner for political purposes.
• And Mr. Civility (Goober for Gubnor Morgan, the one in what appears to be in a double mask on the right side off by himself) – see I can play by the New Rules that the Left has set as well), Morgan, adds to the pile on: “conduct unbecoming a Selectboard member” and claiming that taking a picture was harassing and threatening.

My gawd – what an uppity person he is. And note the claim he’s making – from a simple scarecrow pic to harrassment of…whom?  By Bob? He’s now obviously referencing Letty Bedard – now I know she’s a School Board member. But to make taking a simple picture such an act?  He is doing EXACTLY what he accuses Bob of doing – another known Democrat tactic.

• But that’s also a known Democrat tactic – make it appear to be in the worst possible light.  Tactic – not Truth.  
• And then Goober decided that Bob had written MY article and wanted him to apologize for it!  Hey, Goober, did you even BOTHER to see who wrote the article?  Me. My name is right there. And with the rumors he wants Sununu’s Chair, we just have been told, by Goober himself, he fails to do his homework.
• Bob points out that Letty was forced by NO one to post up the mask & sewing machine image but Morgan refuses to accept the Truth and STILL wants to make Bob responsible….for MY article?  This is shades of Critical Race Theory – you are guilty for other peoples’ actions even if you did nothing.  Yep, another tactic. Let’s call it what it is – grandstanding from an assumed Moral High ground.
• And then Letty Bedard decided to wade in – and starts off with yammering about the “article” and doesn’t take FULL responsibility for what she posted. I think that called “squirming”:

• Bob then reads the above and AGAIN explained that his pic was about the scarecrow and PROPERLY took her on for being a hypocrite.
• Leddy then tries to explain her way out of what she wrote.

Sidenote: Letty Bedard then confirms that her children are DISQUSTING. Nice, Mom – telling the whole world what she thinks of her offspring. Yo, Mom, does “raising” ring a bell?

• Next Democrat tactic – notice how she shifts the attention from her post to what she wants to believe are Bob’s (or my) criticism of her as a School Board member?  What the heck?  I wrote nothing about School Boards in my post; I know nothing if Bob has but it doesn’t matter. It’s a deflection to take the attention from herself and back onto their intended victim (Bob)
• Eric Turer Goober from the audience Board then shows that he is a mind reader and all but calls Bob for lying (another Democrat tactic) that he doesn’t know about GraniteGrok. Hard to tell – what appears to be a double mask and all. Thankfully, others that have the misfortune of knowing his voice better than I corrected me.
• Then, Letty decided to read from a prepared statement. No, Letty, unless Turer can read my mind as well, I didn’t make sport of you because you are a School Board member so get off that Percheron that Morgan is on as well. You were and still are a hypocrite. Now, if you WANT me to go after your School Board decision, I shall do so.  But last time I looked, nowhere (except for the Democrat Dictionary) is pointing out the hypocrisy voluntarily shown by you is an act of Harassment by me OR Bob

Sidenote: I had to look up his name – I’ve never met him. You’re welcome, Goober and Turer. You talk smack about Bob, I’ll do so to you.

• And FINALLY they mention that it was GraniteGrok they are complaining about. But they are still trying to make it all about Bob.  Silly creatures (If Letty can reference an old movie, I can quote an old cereal commercial)
• And now Letty is trying that “I’m a mind reader” schtick with me – and add in “I’M A VICTIM!!!” – sure, of your own actions and no deflection of being a School Board member can change that.
• Yeah, go worst case there, Letty: “cause more strife in our town”.  The only “strife”, I’ve oft seen from Democrats lately (EVERYTHING is a crisis!) is that created by them over anything to move that Narrative FORWARD!
• Ah! She make a reference meant to cement that Bob and I “associate with” each other. Go ahead, Letty, lie about that. Just like Turer tried to intimate Bob’s relationship to the ‘Grok.
• Boy, they’re pulling out all the tactics: ‘Your character as an offICIAL”. Character assassination, anyone?

And this is PURE GOLD:

Lastly, in the future, if anyone wants to take a picture of me I invite them to do me the courtesy of letting me know so I can at least smile

as she sits in the chair, masked. Pure irony.

• Then Liz McConnell decides to weigh in. I guess she has never forgiven GraniteGrok for her NH House Rep election loss. Or that GraniteGrok DOES present itself as an existential threat to Democrats (funny that, that an operation that exists on a few thousand dollars a year and staffed by volunteers is threatening to a Party machine that runs on millions of dollars a year – heh!)
• Such chutzpah – demanding that Bob write to “that organization” that it wasn’t his intentions…   Seriously, back to blaming Bob for something he didn’t do! Yet another tactic.
• THEN she decides to read from our ABOUT page in trying to use our own words against us:

Fire-breathing, extremist, right-wing, hard-charging, gun-toting, opinionated, outspoken, rabble-rousing, publication.

And she lies – I never wrote “publication”. But she stopped there.

What she DIDN’T stop is the perception that Democrats are a humorless bunch and ill suited to detecting over-the-top satire for what it is – meant for a chuckle.  Holding a grudge, dear?

• So, who are you going to believe, your lying eyes when you see both images and NOT draw the conclusion I drew (Letty Bedard is a mask hypocriet) or what the Dems in that room want you to believe (“It’s all BOB’S FAULT”).  Self-righteous self-Moralizing incompetents.   Really, Liz wants him to apologize?
• Sorry Bob, you got your next bit wrong – I didn’t call out Liz for not wearing a mask. But she is CERTAINLY trying to make you look bad and trying HARD to make Letty the oppressed victim because I only showed what she did to herself – voluntarily.
• However, nice defense otherwise. Morgan, Bedard, McConnell, and Turer are simply BULLIES.
• NO LIZ, I DIDN’T GET THE PICTURE FROM BOB – and because you can’t prove it, the only conclusion that comes to mind includes the word “lying”.
• Yes, Letty, despite your outburst at the end, you ARE a hypocrite.  Your own picture said it and the other picture shows it.

Case closed. Perhaps I will start looking at Brentwood more and harder – easy pickings of low lying Democrat fruit (did you see what I did there?)
