No Honor, No Courage and No Commitment to the People of New Hampshire

Dear Executive Council,

The United States Marine Corps celebrates its 246th Birthday today! Our motto is Semper Fidelis, Latin for Always Faithful. Our core values are Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

Yesterday you showed that you have no honor, no courage, and no commitment to the people of New Hampshire, just yourselves. We’ll never know who bullied, bought, or berated you into doing their bidding, but you certainly have shown your true colors.

Today is Veterans Day.

A day we honor those who have defended the freedom of all Americans, many at great personal cost.

Yesterday you dishonored their service and sacrifices.

Yesterday you allowed the federal government to purchase the personal freedoms of Granite Staters.

Congratulations to each of you for proving  the quote “There may be honor among thieves, but there’s none in politicians.”

This quote, attributed to Peter O’Toole, seems to fit after yesterday’s actions by the executive council perfectly.

With Disdain,

Michael Petruzziello
Major, USMC (Ret)
