The Windham Incident: The AG Has some Questions…

PRESS RELEASE: September 16, 2021 – Windham, NH – On September 1, 2021, the attorney for the town of Windham received a four-page letter that contains a list of detailed questions regarding the town’s testing of their voting machines, as well as the handling of ballots.

The letter was signed by Assistant Attorney General Nicholas A. Chong Yen, and Assistant Secretary of State Orville B. Fitch II, with a copy sent to Windham Town Clerk Nicole Merrill.

The questions contained in the letter are simple and straightforward, seeking clarification and documentation showing the processes and procedures that were followed by town officials in preparation for the November 2020 General Election.

As a Windham Selectman and strong proponent of election integrity, I urge the Board of Selectmen to invite our election officials to discuss the letter as a number one priority at our next upcoming meeting. This will provide our Windham Town Clerk and Election Moderators with an opportunity to answer the AG’s and SOS’s questions publicly – and to provide the type of transparency that we deserve and have all come to expect.

Selectman Bruce R. Breton

Windham, NH 03087
