Does Your Government Suffer From Insurrection Dysfunction (ID)?

capitol fence

Left-Wing Democrats are not the stupidest people in American because there are people who believe what they say, which makes them dumber. And they are not all Dems. Case in point. The January 6th Capitol Building Protest.

A bunch of goofs forced their way into the US Capitol Building and took selfies of themselves (and pictures of friends) lounging about like the political elites.

Other than being uninvited and a smattering of property damage, there’s not much else to report unless you make stuff up, which the Left did and does.

They called it a riot. I’ve seen riots (in large urban wastelands run by Democrats) and can’t begin to rise to that level.

They called it an insurrection. Really? It was the first unarmed insurrection of its kind where the “insurrectionists” were unarmed, hung out for a bit, and then left.

There is nothing in history with which to compare it, or is there?

What happened in the US Capitol was more like Progressive-backed Occupy Wall Street without the tents, drum circles, filth, rape, months of occupation, violence, and murder.

Sorry, that’s not quite right.

There was one murder at the US Capitol that day, and the Medical Examiner labeled it a homicide. But we still do not know the name of the Capitol Police officer who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt.

She was a white veteran and not a black man with a criminal record with fatal levels of Fentanyl in his blood, so we’ll never know who killed her. They will never be charged. The DC DA said as much.

And not one demand from the left that I can find to defund the Capitol Police.

They went the other way. Added boots on the ground. A regular surge complete with an uninviting wire fence, dogs, vehicles, and a lot more ammunition than you’d need for an average day at the shooting range.

It was Stalag 13 but in reverse. The prisoners were the people in charge and just as stupid as Col. Klink, Sgt. Schultz, and even Major Wolfgang Hochstetter.

Why?

Insurrection Dysfunction (ID). Yes, it could be a dysfunction of the insurrectionists, but then that’s because that’s not what they were, and calling them that doesn’t make it so.

These are wild imaginings purely for political profit. Five guys waiting too long for coffee at Dunkin’s could do more damage in less time, and what happened in DC on January 6th. And depending on the Dunkin’s, they’d have actually had weapons.

No one accused of insurrection and being hounded by the FBI just for being there (inside or out) had a weapon. This makes it at most a protest and trespassing with a bit of souvenir shopping (otherwise known as looting, which happens at the US capitol every day even when Congress is not in session).

And if we use the Left’s definition, it wasn’t even a [peaceful protest.

No one lit anything on fire, destroyed a minority business, or shot any people of color.

Some disgruntled folks motivated by left-wing insurgents forced their way in and then left.

Is there a cure for ID? Yes, it’s the same cure for everything else that ails a culture, a society, a people, or a nation. Fewer Democrats in elected office, taken every two years, more often if the option is available, forever – as symptoms will persist if you forget to fill this prescription.

Side effects include more growth, lower taxes, additional individual liberty, state sovereignty, national security, greater wage mobility, smarter children, fewer mass shootings, declines in global terrorism, less welfare, poverty, and homelessness, lower crime rates, allies who pay their own way, no critical race theory, secured borders, cheaper oil and gas, and much more. Ask your constitution if treating ID is right for you.

The correct answer is yes, yes it is.
