Lying to Parents – Superintendent’s Response is Sheer Laziness – Beitler restarts “the pattern”

by Skip

A bit of a recap here: The Gilford School Board, in its Policy JBAB, codifies Lying to Parents, either by commission or omission, when it comes to their children relative to their gender dysphoria/transgenderism. It has declared that, in this Dillon’s Rule state, that it has such power to grant a new Right to an Individual.

“In essence, the Board has declared that a student has a new Right – even if they are a minor child.”

In that post is the RSA 91:A Right To Know demand that basically says “show the documents that give you that power to grant a new Right to an Individual” – yes, we’re back to this again. It was issued on May 11th.

I received the first response from Superintendent Beitler on the 14th saying that he was “collecting” information that would satisfy that Right To Know

Good afternoon Mr. Murphy,We did receive your May 11, 2021 Right to Know request.  We are still working on collecting some of the information you have requested.  I hope to have information for you by Wednesday of next week.

Respectfully,

Kirk

And then sent me his infamous response where he sent me a response to a Mr. Shea in lieu of actually answering my actual demand:

And in which I responded – and not in a way that made them happy. And Captain Kirk decided to respond thusly:

Dear Mr. Murphy:

On May 19, 2021, the District provided you the documents that respond to your May 11, 2021 Right-to-Know Law request.  It has no additional documents.  The Right-to-Know Law requires the District to provide pre-existing documents that are not exempt from disclosure.  It does not require the District to answer your questions about what you contend are a new right to privacy, the power to deceive parents, and to circumvent parental rights and FERPA.

The documents provided to you include the discrimination statutes that were the legal basis for the District adopting Policy JBAB and include documents relating to the two sections of Policy JBAB in your Right-to-Know Law request.  The documents also include the sample NHSBA Policy JBAB dated April 2015, which include the two sections in your Right-to-Know Law request as well as numerous revisions to that Policy during the months of discussion at public meetings.  The School Board adopted Policy JBAB which is based upon the NHSBA Policy JBAB to fulfill its obligations under the discrimination laws.

Sincerely,

Kirk

Well, we’re playing this game again. Parse the above and guess how I answered…
