Stories are circulating madly with the title “Facebook and American Journal of Medicine Admit Their Stand on HCQ was Wrong.” I’m not sure that’s exactly true. AJM published research in January, and Facebook got its hand slapped for pulling down one video, but I think the real story is about Donald Trump.
For starters (patting self on back) we were sharing news and research about the likely efficacy of HCQ for treating SARS Cov2 in March of 2020. Since then, we have added close to 70 articles with links, data, doctors’ testimonials, and more demonstrating that it always worked or that the fear was keeping people away from a safe-viable treatment.
Mr. Trump, having access to similar research, no doubt also announced early on that he’d heard HCQ could help. The Media and the Left’s response was a terror campaign that made the stuff illegal or near impossible to get in a handful of states, scaring off at least half of America and threatening doctors and pharmacists who dared prescribe it or fill it.
The Left even manufactured a fake report by a fake research group saying it could increase the chance of death, a group that vanished after the damage had been done.
Problem? It works. It always worked. The bulk of research before COVID19 suggests HCQ would work. And, as we’ve pointed out repeatedly, the left’s response means the body count number they report is on them.
Hundred of thousands of people with easy access to HCQ and Zinc or Arythromyacin could have stayed out of the hospital and lived.
No lockdowns. No quarantines. No small-business wipeouts or mask mandates or covid19 depression, drug abuse, or isolation suicide. None of it. The economy would have never tanked, no mail-in-ballotpalooza and Trump probably wins re-election by a landslide.
We can’t undo that. We can continue to tell a truth that no one else in NH media could manage for a year.
Feel free to peruse The AJM article here. (one of many money quotes, emphasis mine)
1) when started late in the hospital course and for short durations of time, antimalarials appear to be ineffective, 2) when started earlier in the hospital course, for progressively longer durations and in outpatients, antimalarials may reduce the progression of disease, prevent hospitalization, and are associated with reduced mortality.
And then ask yourself who on the left that spoke against this drug was involved in a conspiracy – to quote Facebook’s rules – that contributed to the risk of imminent physical harm during a global pandemic.
When started late the patient already has advanced to Pneumonia and will probably be drowned internally especially if old and comorbid. But all other applications would literally prevent the entire crisis as it has been sold to us.
And we, and the President, have been saying that all along to the hyperbolic Bills**t of leftists and their media and b ig tech bagmen.
Facebook is guilty but not so much for claiming HCQ was not effective though they were militant in policing content that said as much. They were dinged for inconsistent guidelines and failing to use less invasive methods as opposed to removing a video in France that asked why HCQ was not considered as a treatment.
It’s worthy of attention, but I don’t see the blistering rebuke of Facebook that a lot of headlines suggest. But the sentiment is justified. Facebook was wrong, the media was wrong, and we were right. President Trump was right.
The Left was wrong, and hiding the old research, the truth will continue to be their number one priority. Our job is to make sure the people know the truth.
The Left and the media lied, and people died.
