What’s the Politi-virus Narrative? … It’s After the Election

The media is jumping on the anti-lockdown bandwagon. For the last year it has been casting anyone who questioned the efficacy of lockdowns as “Grandma Killers.” Yet they were giving Governor Cuomo a free pass and an Emmy Award.

It seems they have a different definition of “bad actor” than many… but I digress.

Newsweek reports: A study evaluating COVID-19 responses around the world finds mandatory lockdown orders early in the pandemic did not provide significantly more benefits to slowing the spread of the disease than other voluntary measures… The peer reviewed study was published in the European Journal of Clinical Investigation on January 5. It provided analysis of politi-virus case growth in 10 countries in early 2020.

The study compared cases in England, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and the U.S. These are all countries that implemented mandatory lockdown orders and business closures. They also looked at South Korea and Sweden, which instituted less severe, voluntary responses. The purpose of the study is to analyze the effectiveness of measures taken. They measured two things: Changing individual behavior and curbing the transmission of the virus.

The researchers determined that there was no clear, significant beneficial effect of more restrictive measures on case growth in any country. Aren’t we all startled by that finding? In a truly politically correct statement they said:

“We do not question the role of all public health interventions, or of coordinated communications about the epidemic, but we fail to find an additional benefit of stay-at-home orders and business closures…”

Places to go for information…

It’s nice of them to notice… a year late and a few trillion dollars short as it may be. But it’s politi-virus after all. The important part was changing your individual behavior. And there they have succeeded is getting most of the world to accept wearing face diapers. Kind of makes you want to go out and buy a burka and a hajib.

There are some in the medical community who have opposed government lockdowns for some time. DEAR CNN: Thousands of medical practitioners and medical and public health scientists are against lockdowns. Is that news? Are the differences of professional opinion on policy matters even in the province of reporting? Just asking…

Did you see the video about WHO’s Special Envoy On COVID-19 Urges World Leaders To ‘Stop Using Lockdowns’? Have you read the Doc Posts Twitter Thread On The ‘Unknown Side Effect Of Lengthy Lockdowns’ Related To COVID-19 And Lack Of Exposure To The Common Cold? Or seen the video, CORBETT REPORT Takes A BLOWTORCH To Lockdown Orthodoxy. Have you asked yourself: If lockdowns work, why is politi-virus spreading like crazy in California?

Check out is this very, very long but worthwhile Twitter thread. It has 30 studies about the ineffectiveness of lockdowns. Yes, some of the studies listed below have not yet been through peer-review. The findings however are consistent with those that have been through peer review.  So what’s the narrative on politi-virus these days?
