It is an odd thing to live in a state with the motto Live Free or Die, with so many people doing the exact opposite. Giving up freedom on the word of experts whose own data contradicts their fearmongering about the risk fo death. It’s not universal. We have a resistance. What we need is more of this.

The pushback against Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom’s strict coronavirus lockdown is growing, including in rural communities where businesses and their customers are openly defying the orders.
Business owners say that their customers want them open, and they mean ‘open,’ and they are listening. “Owner Steve Knauf [Steve’s Sportsmans Cafe] is still serving up chicken fried steak and beef ribs to hungry crowds and said he is no longer listening to state and other officials.”
The Sheriff’s office says it doesn’t have the resources to police all these free-spirited folk taking charge of their lives and assuming the risk based on their own tolerance and circumstances.
Crazy stuff? It’s actually the attitude that created America in the first place. Tired of being lorded over, Europeans without means entered into indentured servitude for years to buy passage and a chance to be free from all of that when they’d paid off their debts.
These people threw caution to the wind and hacked a life out of the wilderness. Faced dangers far greater than a 0.02% chance of death from a flu virus.
Their ancestors must suffer the rantings of ‘experts’ demanding they act like slaves to their arbitrary orders when the data clearly shows nothing they’ve imposed has done what they claimed, that the virus itself is not the threat they promised while causing significant collateral damage (unintended consequences) in the process.
From time to time, a little revolution, especially the peaceful GFY variety, is essential and needed (especially) here in New Hampshire. A state where Live Free or Die has been reduced to Wear Masks and Cry.
Waaahhh, they won’t wear a mask. They’re healthy and nineteen (29, 39, 49, 59). The (mask and the rest of it) is a greater threat to their health than COVID19 you a**holes.
We’ve said it before. There is little in the world as rare as liberty. To give it up so easily is a sad end to a political experiment that has allowed more people from more places to lift themselves and their families out of poverty than any in human history.
