The November election is likely the most important one since 1860. This election is more than a contest over particular policies or programs. It isn’t only about healthcare or taxes. This election is a contest between two competing regimes. It is a struggle between two ways of life in diametric opposition.
These two different civilization views cannot exist peacefully together. The traditional American way of life is based on individual rights. It requires a respect for and compliance with the rule of law. The American way of life needs a shared understanding of the common good.
This way of life values hard work, self reliance, volunteerism, patriotism, etc. … etc. In the traditional American way of life there are no hyphenated Americans. We are all Americans. Colorblindness is our aspiration.
Cultural Marxism
The other way of life is multi-culturalism, identity politics, cultural Marxism or intersectionality. The multi-cultural movement has taken over the Democrat Party. It is a revolutionary movement. Not a metaphorical revolution it is an actual revolution. It is an attempt to overthrow the American founding.
President Trump said at Mount Rushmore, conservatives and classical liberals everywhere, at every level, and at every opportunity should say the same thing. This is a revolution to overthrow the American founding.
Multi-culturalism does not conceive of society as a community of individuals with equal rights. Rather, it sees it as a collection of cultural identity groups defined by race, ethnicity, gender, etc. … etc. According to the multi-culturalists white males oppress all of the identity groups.
Their goal is to have identity group proportionally represented in all institutions of American society. Achieving this representation requires a never ending redistribution of wealth and power. It must be taken from some groups to be given to other groups. A tyrannical government is the only way to achieve such a massive redistribution.
As in all tyrannies, this tyrannical government will silence all dissent. In order to achieve this proportional representation Democrats; the Anarchists, Antifa, BLM and Islamists masquerading as Democrats, require not just interminable affirmative action, but genuine socialism, open borders, unrestricted trade, seizing guns, sanctuary cities and so, so much more.
Values, principles and the institutions which teach them
The Anarchists, Antifa, BLM and Islamists masquerading as Democrats recognize what Republicans seem not to. If they are to achieve their policy agenda they must force Americans to change their values and principles. They must get Americans to change the way we understand ourselves.
They must get us to believe that national borders and colorblindness is racist. America is not one culture. We are many cultures. The most important thing in our history, the thing around which everything else pivots, is slavery.
The multi-culturalists must get us to believe that we are unworthy. Not just that we have sinned, but that we are irredeemably sinful. Their term is systemically racist. Not only racist but also sexist, homophonic, Islamophobic, and all the other “ists” and phobias. Multi-culturalists must get us to believe we are bad.
The coming election is between a man who believes America is good and a dementia patient controlled by a movement which believes America is bad. Trump is the right man for today. For the Democrats the task is to change our traditional American values and principles. They must destroy or restructure the institutions which teach traditional American values.
The most important structure is the family. Also important are religion, education, and community life. They must be replaced with government bureaucracies. It is in these value teaching institutions where we see the strength of the revolution. This is where the action is. It is where conservatives and classical liberals are missing.
