The New Hampshire Attorney Generals Office (Dept. of Justice) has reportedly seen the Hollis Police report and the evidence against Democrat candidate Tom Harris that we published here two days ago. Unlike the Hollis Police, they are not going to wait for the next guy they catch.

Harris stands accused of taking political signs that do not belong to him, an act to which he admits in the Hollis Police report.

Thomas told me he simply goes out after elections and removes signs that belong to him and other signs that he does not recognize.

This is an admission of a property crime and a violation of election law. The Hollis PD opted not to press charges, but I guess the AG’s office has reportedly referred this for criminal investigation.

According to my sources, the NH DOJ Criminal Division has confirmed that, based on the Hollis Police Report and corroborating photographs delivered to them regarding the Tom Harris (Hollis, NH) matter, the DOJ Criminal Division has assigned an investigator to review the alleged violation of NH RSA 664:17 – the illegal removal of political advertising, thievery, criminal trespass and violation of a citizen’s First Amendment Rights.

Tom Harris is a Democrat Candidate for State Rep, Hillsborough County District 27.

This is an ongoing investigation. We will provide updates as they become available.
