I gave my email address ONCE to a Democrat politician years ago. Now it has morphed like that gender reveal party’s pyrotechnics, into a wildfire of Democrat email lists of all kinds. All the usual Democrat politicians here in NH, a Democrat Governor’s group, Democrat Attorney Generals group, the DNC, the DCCC, the DCSC, and all kinds of allied front groups.
This time, the “Stop Republicans” group (a sub-group of the Progressive Turnout Project). Their latest email had this in it (emphasis mine on the false part):
John Roberts can stop Donald Trump from appointing another Supreme Court Justice.
He is the Chief Justice. He should tell Trump PUBLICLY that it is UNACCEPTABLE to appoint a new Justice now before the election is decided.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat should be filled by the winner of the 2020 election. If John Roberts wants to save the Supreme Court, he must act now.
Now, go read the US Constitution, Section 3 – the Powers of the Judiciary.
You will NOT find a single mention a “Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.” You will also not find a single mention that a “Chief Justice of the Supreme Court” has the power to tell Trump that he cannot nominate a new Justice to the Supreme Court.
And no, Roberts won’t say a thing. The fact they are demanding he should just shows that EVERYTHING is political to the Left and are willing to pull out the stops in achieving their political goal. Even in a branch of government that is supposed to be blind when meting out Justice (yes, I know it is but let’s be trying for better, shall we for the moment?).
Chief Justice Roberts can’t do a thing to stop Trump from doing a nomination to fill Ginsberg. The only control he has in how he will tell Trump’s nominee “Welcome to the most exclusive club in the world!” – either politely (which he will most like do) or not.
I find it rather amusing (sad, really) that even while the Democrats decry “false information”, here they are spreading it. It is also amusing (sad, really) that we get dinged for false information by another Democrat mouthpiece, Facebook, for something that we didn’t say and the above is rather blatant about use disinformation rather openly.
