Bob Clegg is running for Executive Council District 5 against David Wheeler. I support his right to do so, but when I saw his campaign sent out a disinformation mailer that falsely smeared Mr. Wheeler, I felt compelled to do the homework that many may not have the time to do.

That led me to publish an article titled “Dave Wheeler Is An Honorable Man, Bob Clegg’s Disinformation Mailer Debunked!”
My article goes through the disinformation in the mailer point by point and provides documentation to disprove it. It also includes a long list of endorsements from organizations and individuals that support family values, the Right to Life, Pro-2nd Amendment, fiscal responsibility, and Liberty, to name just a few.
Mr. Clegg read my article, and subsequently wrote what he claims to be a “rebuttal.” In reality, Mr. Clegg’s “rebuttal” is a non-rebuttal rebuttal, because he does not rebut the facts I presented to debunk his mailer, nor does he even defend his mailer. Instead, his “rebuttal” is an attempt at misdirection, to change the focus of the conversation from the false accusations in his mailer, to a series of character assassination attacks against a selective few of Mr. Wheeler’s supporters; Governor Benson, Kelly Ayotte, William Grenier, Americans For Prosperity and Russell Prescott.
Perhaps Mr. Clegg did not mention the endorsements from Pro-Life organizations and individuals because his mailer falsely inferred Mr. Wheeler was “pro-Planned Parenthood.” (Click to view mailer)

Perhaps Mr. Clegg did not mention the endorsements from the National Association for Gun Rights because his mailer falsely inferred Mr. Wheeler was “anti-Gun”, not to mention he knows that Mr. Wheeler is on the Advisory Board of the New Hampshire Firearms Coalition. (Click to view mailer)
Mr. Clegg’s “rebuttal” quietly ignores the blatant inaccuracies in his mailer. He also ignores the long and impressive list of Mr. Wheeler’s supporters. Take a look and decide for yourself if this is a list of shady organizations and individuals – or one that would be welcomed if you were running for office.
