A Canadian woman sent a ricin attack on President Trump. Now we are seeing reports coming from Ontario of multiple anti-Semitic attacks. What’s going on up there?

Canada is our closest trading partner. But are they now planning to export these anti-Semitic attacks too? According to the reports, private homes are in receipt of spray paint. It is anti-Jewish graffiti. Jewish worshipers had to endure spitting and cursing incidents. A father and son underwent verbal assault in the province during holiday the high holy days.
There have been three incidents. A Jewish defense agency is describing them as anti-Semitic. They took place in the Canadian province of Ontario over Rosh Hashanah. On Friday evening, a man-made a verbal attack on a Jewish father and his son outside a synagogue in Thornhill. Thornhill is a community north of Toronto. The area has Canada’s largest concentration of Jewish residents.

The man yelled, “You’re a piece of shit, you’re Jewish, you run the f***in’ world… ” This was before approaching the victim’s car. He was then attempting to stick his hand inside, B’nai Brith Canada reports.
On Sunday, two garage doors on private homes in Thornhill were spray-painted. The graffiti read, “Jews Run the World” and “Jews Hate Blacks.” There was vandalism against a nearby vehicle also.
In Ottawa, a man spat at worshipers at an outdoor service. He also called them “dirty f***ing Jews” as he drove by on Saturday.
Michael Mostyn, chief executive officer of B’nai Brith Canada said, “These appalling incidents have struck a chord with the Jewish community at what is already a challenging time for many…”
There are things we ignore because they are more trouble than they are worth. There are other things which carry a message. Sometimes it is best to recognize events that are problematic so they can be addressed. There is truth in the old saw, show me your friends and I’ll show you your future. Anti-Semitic attacks are reported in Canada we noticed and we are concerned.
