Pro-BLM “Protest” NH Democrats Don’t Want Trump to Come to NH ‘cuz Virus!

Once again, we have Progressive/Socialist Democrats wishing to suppress someone else’s speech that isn’t there own. In this case, Dan Feltes and Selfish Socialist Andru Volinsky are using the WuFlu as a cover, a pretext, to make that happen (emphasis mine, reformatted):

Sununu: Stopping POTUS Visit Isn’t ‘Possible or Appropriate’

At Tuesday’s COVID-19 presser, Gov. Chris Sununu dismissed calls from prominent Democrats that he stop President Trump’s rally in Manchester on Friday. “That’s not possible, nor would it be appropriate,” Sununu said.

…The two Democrats competing for the chance to run against Sununu in November, state Sen. Dan Feltes and Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky, have both called on Sununu to prevent the president’s rally from happening. After the Trump rally was announced, Feltes issued a statement urging Sununu to “just say No” to Trump’s rally. “It’s no surprise that @GovChrisSununu, a self-described ‘Trump guy through and through’ is refusing to stand up to Trump. A political rally that will attract thousands of people, many from out of state, should not come before keeping our schools and communities safe,” Feltes tweeted after the Tuesday presser.

Yeah, the WuFlu dies in the presence of BLM/Antifa Democrat rallies but grows like Hurricane Laura at a Republican “protest”.

See, that’s all you have to do – call it a political protest! Which, btw, it is – a political protest against the Socialism that both Feltes and Volinsky represent and wish to jam down our throats.

Isn’t it true that he Democrats of the Party that says “Dissent is the highest form of Patriotism” – or did a few years ago. The TDS is strong with these two – a much more troublesome disease than the Chinese Flu they are hiding behind.

Would I be impolite to say “put a sock in it” instead of “put a mask over it”?  Or would that be

Neither Feltes or Volinsky tolerate dissent. Neither can stand that someone else has different ideas about how elected representatives should act. It is clear that the two of them have far different ideas what “governance” works.

And then Selfish Socialist Volinsky just had to go there:

“We need a governor that isn’t afraid to tell Trump to stay home or challenge his failed leadership handling the COVID crisis that has cost us over 176,000 American lives,” Volinsky said Monday.

Now do Governers Cuomo, Murphy, Newsome, and Pritzker – Democrats all. Now do Federalism – which doesn’t give a Power to any President that would cause him to actually be responsible for those deaths. Nice political posturing for which neither Feltes or Volinsky will not be held responsible.

And of course, the most telling part that this is nothing but political posturing:

But can a governor make a POTUS “stay home?” Can he stand at the border and “just say No” to Trump stopping by? NHJournal repeatedly asked both Democrats to explain how they would prevent the rally or stop Trump from coming. They declined to respond.

Federalism – the most powerful tool that the Founders employed to separate Powers specifically enumerated to the Federal Govt and the rest remaining to the “various States”. The most important take away here about both Feltes and Volinsky:

  • They believe and sound like they’ll be elected to be Kings without any restrictions at all – “I can do anything under emergency orders!”
  • In giving blame to Trump, are they making Federalism disappear in which the States will be merely lines on a map and only the Federal Government matters?
  • Then, why would we need Governors?
  • Why bother with local legislatures?
  • And what would happen to ANY kind of local control (such as we have here in NH)?
  • Words used to have meanings – very specific meanings. Our Foundational documents used to have meaning as well.

So with the above, what is the meaning that Feltes’ and Volinsky’s words – to us?
