“[E]quity,” (is) a euphemism for racial, gender and other discrimination. It’s the opposite of equal opportunity, it’s demanding equal results even if it means discriminating against some people on the basis of race, ethnicity or other immutable factors.

It’s the core driving the “antiracism” movement on campus. When campus activists and administrators say “equity” (as opposed to “equality”), what they really mean is discrimination based on race to achieve a desired racial outcome.
Translation: all of Society MUST operate on racial quotas. Every bit of it. And regarding the current Black Lives Matter stupidness if you aren’t an active antiracist, you ARE a racist” (e.g., Erik Erickson’s “You WILL be made to care”):

Once again, the Left rears its Totalitarian head is DEMANDING that only one line of thought, theirs, is permissible. This is the same as in the gender dystopia / transgender science denial culture war:
- You WILL believe that a biological man is a women if they demand it regardless of their chromosomal make up
- You WILL believe that a biological woman is a man if you demand it regardless of their chromosomal make up
- You WILL talk / write about them using ONLY the pronouns and other words they demand.
Totalitarianism is all about making you believe in what you know is a lie like 2 + 2 =/= 5. And if you don’t believe that things have gotten THAT bad, go here.
