Media’s Lies About the “Peaceful” Seattle Autonomous Zone are a Warning to America!

Seattle’s Pinko mayor has finally ordered the police to take back the Capital Hill Oligarchs Playground (CHOP). Despite media reports to the contrary (peaceful protest, rainbows, drum circles, and happiness), the place is a crime-riddled wasteland.

“CHOP violently seized six blocks of downtown Seattle, guarded the area they stole with semi-automatic rifles and appointed a leader who called himself a warlord and the media spun it as a fun time with ‘free snacks,’” Washington Times columnist Tim Young told Fox News.

The fawning corporate media cannot be relied upon to deliver anything but partisan spin (which we have known for years). The hypocritical coverage of Antifa and BLM riots and now the CHOP shop is a fresh slap in the face.

Not since the occupy movement have we had the chance to watch the propaganda arm of the Left lie so entirely about facts on the ground regarding Leftist occupiers. Occupy camps were ground zero for filth, petty crime, rape, and even murder.

The Capital Hill Anarchists who took six (or so) city blocks of real-estate turned it into an occupy camp overnight while the local Democrat Socialist Stenographers at the Seattle Times (and the complicit alphabet’s and cable news) were selling a different vibe.

“Free snacks at the No-Cop Co-op. Free gas masks from some guy’s sedan. Free speech at the speaker’s circle, where anyone could say their piece. A free documentary movie – Ava DuVernay’s “13th” – showing after dark,” Seattle Times reporter Evan Bush wrote. “Perhaps most important to demonstrators, the neighborhood core was free of uniformed police.” …

“Seattle’s quirky, lefty Capitol Hill,” noting that organizers “envisioned education initiatives, programs to address homelessness and building a community movement where unarmed police are designed to de-escalate.” ..

“The streets smelled like the Fourth of July, as people seared hot dogs on curbside grills,”

Calling this Fan fiction would be polite. Reality had a different scent and a bitter taste. But the only people to know the truth were the victims or their witnesses.

Victims may never be able to speak, and witnesses can be silenced, while the corporate media sings happy songs about the ‘revolution.’

“It’s obvious to media consumers that journalists put protesters above property. It remains to be seen how they would greet an occupation of the Seattle Times. It probably depends on which political agenda you’re pushing,” NewsBusters executive editor Tim Graham told Fox News.

But the Police Chief, not a disinterested voice in the success of the project -mind you, finally delivered some facts on the ground, some of which we have reported here.

“The CHOP has become lawless and brutal,” Police Chief Carmen Best said Wednesday in a written statement. “Four shootings – two fatal – robberies, assaults, violence and countless property crimes have occurred in this several block area.”

The Media’s coverage was deliberately misleading, again not a surprise to our regular readers, but a valuable lesson. It’s one thing to lie about day to day goings on political or otherwise. To slant and spin or selectively edit to push an agenda. But hiding the agendas methods when they’ve been let off the leash is hiding the reality of the transformation the Left plans for the entire nation.

The Left’s Socialist Omellete can’t get made unless they crack a few of your eggs. The media, for their part, will make sure you only hear about co-ops, free stuff, and the scents of Fourth of July, by which they mean the roasting of their political opponents on the altar of change.
