Maskachusetts Health Officials Approve Permanent Mask Mandate

Big Brother 1984 Mask Coronavirus

The Massachusetts Maskachusetts Public Health Department has voted to approve a permanent mask mandate for the Bay State. Talk about living up to your nickname. The only thing standing between residents and a forever requirement – for the good of public health – is a July 24th Public hearing.

Last month, the state Public Health Council voted to approve permanent rules on face coverings but the requirements aren’t on the books yet. They must go before a public hearing, which is scheduled to be held virtually July 24.

A virtual hearing. So, that’s not a hearing at all. But this Maskachusettes, so what else could we expect. Well, what could we expect?

The proposed regulations closely mirror the emergency rules. They would require face masks or coverings be worn at all times in public where a person can’t maintain a distance of at least six feet from others. Children under 2 years old and people with disabilities and medical conditions would be exempt from the rules.

Will the people of the (cough-cough) cradle of liberty rise in protest, or will they cower like good little virus socialist sheeple? I’m hoping for the former but expecting the latter.

Businesses would be allowed to deny entry to anyone who isn’t wearing a face covering, unless they are exempted. Residents are also required to wear a face covering at all times when using taxis, limousines, ride-hailing services or public transit.

One more reason not to go to Massachusetts and, instead, to shop in New Hampshire.

I guess I’m not all that concerned except for this. New Hampshire Democrats want to be Massachusetts so bad. If we were to find ourselves with a Democrat governor and majority legislature, it would be all over for the Live Free and Die State.

Thank God (sarcasm) Gov. Sununu signed off on new vote by mail rules so the leftists can increase their odds of achieving their dream.
