You know, this is going to be SO revealing of how the folks, preponderance being Liberals and Progressives think in Gilford concerning the Black Lives Matter movement. I’ve already video’d some of the leaders’ thoughts and now it is time to figure out what Gilford residents are thinking and speaking.
Or demanding. I’m sure that a lot of Conservatives already know this – this next series of posts taken from Facebook are what the true believers supporters are thinking. So, here’s a screenshot (and yes, I have already scrapped the entire thread to preserve it). So without further ado, I’ll put up a few and then comment on it:
I had gone through the entire thread and was rather amazed at how much hate there was for someone that didn’t think like these folks – GroupThink run amok. Free Expression? Freedom of Speech? Freedom of thought? All of these three are bedrock Principles of our Republic.
Well, I thought they were – I was corrected in a fairly rapid manner. Look at Tatianna’s immediate response in the second box:
“Silence on racism is not an option”
That should absolutely CHILL you to the bone. You have no choice. You have no choice in what you say. There is only one way to think and you WILL tell others what we tell you to.
I expected to see this at some point because I’ve seen the SILENCE = CONSENT, SILENCE = BETRAYL, SILENCE = VIOLENCE signs not only on TV but on the video I shot but certainly not this quickly. So, I asked about “Freedom” and pretty much got what I expected- no answer at all. So I just left this as a REPLY to her comment:
Skip Murphy So, @Tatianna Wawrzynski-Johnson, you haven’t answered about my question about Freedom (ironic, given we are celebrating our Freedom from King George this weekend). Do people REALLY have no Freedom to remain silent, that they don’t have the Freedom to not participate in the nasty politics that is growing here? Who really gets to decide that their Freedom has just been revoked? And who is going to tell them that?
And that is what a good part of this is all about. Not just here in Gilford but all over the nation. As Erick Erickson said:
You WILL be made to care
And people like Tatianna will see to it, or so it seems.
I try to give people who aren’t thinking this kind of thing through to deeper foundations. Tatianna is a believer in FORCING you to speak what she believes. Yes, the negative Rights, that most BRILLIANT idea that our Founders left us, were oriented to the idea of what GOVT can’t do to you. Yet, most thinking individuals have inculcated that to their personal lives – Free Speech everywhere and anyone.
It is clear that those on the Left no longer believe in this bedrock Pillar of our Republic. They no longer care about it. Part of it is about making you feel guilty. Part of it is go have you go along with the Liberal herd. Part of it (given how often it is shown) is to cower other than this GroupThink. And make no mistake, if they are displaying it, if they are saying it, if they are writing it, if they are SCREAMING it, a good part of it is for the purpose of Intimidation – how DARE you oppose us!
I will be surprised if she answers me. I probably won’t be surprised by the answer. I will promise you that if that answer comes back like I believe it will, it will be clear that she doesn’t know what this step in this banishment will lead to in the near future. I can assure us all, it will be like that Progressive mayor that was upset that, after supporting the BLM / Antifa riots, things will rebound backwards.
But I did blame our Educational System, again, for this lack of Civics knowledge; it really shouldn’t even be a “thing” that I even have to bring up. And right on cue, Grace Sisti (second to last quote above) hauls out the systemic racist canard. So, I asked what the proper questions should always be (last one in this string). After all, she made a blanket statement that would include ALL teachers and the entire school system.
You see, by saying this, the stage is being set for “we have to change EVERYTHING to make it better” (e.g., that old Viet Nam “we had to burn the village to save it” and yes, I know the back story). But again, demanding it all be rebuilt because racism is a poor reason for a do-over (but doing so because it turns out lousy results (take a long view of school system’s NEAP scores) is a lousy reason. And basically, I don’t think she thought about what she just said:
So all of our Gilford teachers are racists? And the Administrators? That’s what you just said “educational system that is white….”. Here in NH, where the demographics are that whites are 97% of the population, of COURSE teachers / staff are going to be mostly white.
But really, you’re calling them racist? Individuals can and are racists – but I reject the notion that every system in America is racist.
As you can see, she wasn’t too happy over that and tried so scurry it back:
Note: I just realized that I didn’t hit the SEE MORE on her comment:
No the history we are taught, the novels we read, and yes also there is a low rate of hires of teachers of color. I am not at all calling teachers racist. I said the educational system is white washed. That means the history and contributions of POC are not taught in the majority of public schools.
And yes systems can be racist when their foundational structure is composed of rules, laws, and leadership structures that purposely were put in place to make it hard for POC to conform or make strides in that system. That is systemic racism.
I standby my answer – Personnel is policy.
This, too: at the top of the first screencap, Tatianna was all about “Silence on racism is not an option”. Well, since the Left is setting the rules, Ms. Sisti, should you be holding the teachers and staff for remaining silent? Sisti wants to merely do the easy thing and blame “the system”. Well, that’s easy to say, trite to say, and appears to trying to curry favor without, you know, doing anything about it?
But back to the top of the post and I’ll ask the question that is being begged to be asked:
Which is worse – someone who is racist or someone who has publicly stated they are very willing to take YOUR Freedom away?
Is there really any difference?
UPDATE: I went back to Tatianna’s missive above and left another comment:
So, @Tatianna Wawrzynski-Johnson, you haven’t answered about my question about Freedom (ironic, given we are celebrating our Freedom from King George this weekend). Do people REALLY have no Freedom to remain silent, that they don’t have the Freedom to not participate in the nasty politics that is growing here? I’m doubting that I’m going to get a reasonable answer but I felt I needed to go back and see if I could get one. That said, I really DO want to see what kind of answer she’d give – or even if she’d stay on topic. But that’s another part of Leftist Privilege – scurry away when the questions go to core issues. I’ve found that, for the most part, Leftist can throw out all of the known Left talking points, they rarely are willing to engage in real debate without it degenerating into the gutter.
