Ilhan Omar is a US Representative from the Minneapolis/St Paul area of Minnesota. Her family was accepted for refugee status after leaving Mogadishu, Somalia. With the lastest George Floyd/Black Lives Matter/Leftist Coalition, is anyone surprised at this?
So almost one in five properties in the city are up for sale. I guess “Minnesota Nice” has just been stretched to the breaking point – they no longer want to live in the equivalent of Mogadishu.
My former company had a big footprint there and I traveled there several times – it was always a cool experience flying in because you’re over lots of farmland and then a city just pops up. A very pretty place. NOT like that now and that’s a shame. But I was only a short term visitor; I’m betting that for longer-term residents, it has not been a joyful ride to have your city taken completely over and trashed.
The other thing is that this is going to make those home and business-listing values crash. After all, who moves INTO a Mogadishu-like environment? Sorry to say, though, they’ve done this to themselves:
Yeah, James Woods may be pointing it out but US Senator Ted Cruz asks the right question. Should have asked the residents, too. After all, voting decisions have consequences and this has been a doozy.
