Prof. Says, Zoom Meetings Are Loaded with Unconscious Bias and Micro-Aggressions?

When you let mentally insane individuals create a curriculum for the mentally insane, you get experts in this. Michigan State Professor Warns of “Unconscious Bias” and “Microaggressions” in Virtual Meetings. Did anyone tell the professor that pointing out unconscious Bias is based?

I imagine that would be sexist because the professor is a she, but seriously – in what world is anyone’s opinion about anything not based on Bias? And you, my dear home-bound, remote working, home-schooling, in-need-of-a-haircut-ordinary American are hurting people’s feelings, and you didn’t even know it.

One quick point before I share the absurdity. Three words. Suck it up. Instead of looking for things and reasons to be offended, go out of your way to not be offended. It makes life easier if you just smile and mumble A**hole through your teeth and let it all go. And it forces the dipsh*t  professor from Michigan (and her ilk) to find real work which will be impossible after she opens her mouth.

No one wants to be handed that much personal baggage every fricking day nor do they want someone to try and create baggage for you to carry that they claim is your own. Sorry, we have all the burger-flippers we need right now. Did you try Target?

Unconscious Bias and microaggressions are, by the way, when someone else not only makes a problem they created in their headspace your problem, but they force you to care and demand you change your behavior, or they will find get others to change it for you.

If it sounds fascist, well, it is!

So here we go. How are you (probably a racist, sexist colonialist), a common (stereotype bias), normal (so much bias), just trying to get by American (nationalist bias) Citizen (anti-immigrant bias), to know (knowledge bias) that your Zoom video conferencing (technology bias) presence could be unconscious Bias or a microaggression? And no, we didn’t ask the “experts” they just shared it anyway cuz that’s their Bias.

“Unconscious bias includes using language, symbolism and nonverbal cues that reinforce normative social identities with respect to gender, race, sexual preference and socioeconomic status,” Bonomi said. “For example, when the virtual background of a Zoom meeting attendee has pictures of his or her wedding, it unintentionally reinforces the idea that marriage is most fitting between opposite sexes.”

Translation: We all need to wear a Mao suit and only share ourselves with others in a plain cell, no windows, bare-bulb lighting. No make-up, and everyone shaves their head. Any potential display of differentness is unconscious Bias. And even then, you will still exhibit Bias.

I know that’s not exactly what she said, but for any bit of what she did to make sense, you have to address everything else that could melt a snowflake. The answer is everything, and it depends on the latter (the melting) becoming more frequent the longer we accept this nonsense and try to play along.

Think about it, hair, color length, style, accessories. Each of those supposes some difference that equates to a disparity over which there is Bias. Now, expand that to, well, everything. Mao suits, here we come.

“In a recent videoconference, we were asked the ‘most fun thing you’ve done with your family during quarantine.’ Participant answers ranged from ‘gardening with my husband’ to ‘dance parties with my family,’” Viveiros said.

While these experiences are valid, Viveiros said that they can crowd out the experiences of people with minoritized social identities.

Unless we are all doing the same things the same way together, it is impossible not to have differing experiences. This, as with the previous example, is an impossible goal to achieve. It is Mao-suiting of human existence, which is not ironic, or funny. That’s entirely the point.

Identity politics, equity, inclusion, all of it have but one purpose. To destroy everything different – specifically liberty, wealth, free markets, and capitalism – and grind it all down to a centrally planned and controlled existence. There’s no other way to achieve these goals.

None.

It is training for Marxist/Leninism. A Mao suit in every corner of your existence, and the police state that comes with it.
