America’s Own Bogeyman-in-Chief

Although a bogeyman is often thought of as a mythical creature used by adults to frighten children into good behavior, it is sometimes used as a non-specific personification for terror, and in some cases, the Devil.

So, let’s look at the following information complied by Judicial Watch (www.judicialwatch.org), and largely confirmed by other outlets such as the Capital Research Center, Gateway Pundit and The Washington Free Beacon, and decide for yourself if this describes a true, real-life bogeyman:

George Soros was born in Hungary and became a naturalized citizen of the US in 1961 and supposedly made his fortune managing hedge funds and investments worldwide. In the February 2017 issue of Forbes Magazine his net worth was estimated at $25.2 billion, ranking him as the 19th wealthiest individual in the world.

In 1979, Soros created his Open Society Foundation (OSF), and according to that group’s website, OSF has contributed $1.5 billion to groups in the United States alone.

Soros and Soros-funded groups, echoed by the liberal media and radical liberal politicians, argue that commonsense ballot integrity measures like voter ID and cleaning voter rolls somehow create “barriers” for minority voters. These arguments are used to distract the public from the Left’s objective, which is to make it easier for ineligible individuals (including felons and non-citizens) to vote, presumably for candidates supported by the Left.

The Soros radical network of advocacy groups and the Left see weakening ballot integrity and establishing amnesty for illegal aliens as important keys to ensuring victories for leftist allies far into the future.

In the 2004 campaign cycle Soros reportedly contributed just over $25 million to various liberal and Democratic Party groups working to defeat then-President George W. Bush’s reelection. Since then, Soros has continued to make huge financial contributions to Democratic candidates for national office, including Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

It has been reported that Soros’ OSF has funded 199 organizations in the United States, and an additional seven American groups have been funded indirectly by contributions from other Soros-funded groups.  Groups receiving funds from Soros’ OSF are universally “progressive” (i.e. repressive) in their philosophy. Some recipients cover the full range of radical and so-called “progressive” causes, including the ACLU; the Brookings Institution; the Center for American Progress; Common Cause; and Planned Parenthood.

The Soros operations have reportedly either founded and/or funded dozens of radical groups dedicated to erasing America’s borders and any legal distinctions between citizens and noncitizens in our country. A key component of these groups’ strategy leading to illegal aliens voting in American is to enact amnesty for illegal elections by financial contributions to groups such as America’s Voice (pro-comprehensive immigration reform); the now leftward leaving American Bar Association’s Commission on Immigration Policy (opposes laws that require employers and persons providing education, health care or other social services to verify citizenship or immigration status); the American Immigration Council (pro-amnesty); the American Immigration Law Foundation (legal actions in support of amnesty); the Brennan Center for Justice (legal actions, pro bono support to activists, media campaigns); the Center for Constitutional Rights (pro-open borders); the National Council of La Raza; the National Immigration Forum (pro-amnesty for illegal aliens and more visas for individuals wishing to immigrate legally to the U.S.); and the National Immigration Law Center.

Soros and his OSF also appear to be major supporters of “sanctuary” policies in cities, counties and states across America. Most sanctuary policies undermine and violate federal immigration law by forbidding local police from cooperating with federal immigration authorities.

Soros made national headlines in 2016 when it was revealed he was funding legal challenges across the country to state efforts to ensure honest elections. Soros and the organized Left continue efforts to weaken ballot integrity. The Left has undertaken a massive legal effort to undermine and oppose common sense election integrity laws; and Soros-backed groups are deeply involved in this effort. A a partial list of so-called “voting groups” that the OSF has funded includes The Advancement Project (which advertises itself as “the next generation, multi-racial civil rights organization); Demos (whose board is now chaired by the daughter of Elizabeth Warren); Project Vote (the voter-mobilization arm of the discredited ACORN organization, which also received Soros support); and the Southern Coalition for Social Justice (involved in several challenges to voter ID and redistricting legal challenges in the South).

While Soros has the right to spend his money in any lawful way, his contributions indicate that his actual agenda is to promote open or no borders; amnesty and voting rights for illegal aliens; and weakening the integrity of our elections in ways that make voter fraud easier and more likely.
