UC Berkeley – Xenophobia is a Common Reaction to the Coronavirus

Leave it to UC Berkley to say what the far-left establishment is thinking. That people might blame Asians for any risk of coronavirus infection and exhibit xenophobic behaviors, and then feel guilty about that.

“Please recognize that experiencing any of these can be normal reactions and that over the next few days or weeks you may experience periods of: Anxiety, worry, panic; Feeling helplessness; Social withdrawal; Difficulty concentrating and sleeping; Hyper-vigilance to your health and body; Anger; and Xenophobia: fears about interacting with those who might be from Asia and guilt about those feelings,” the post stated.

You are bad and this will make you feel bad and you should feel bad, and that is normal.

The university was quick to retract it and apologize.

“We apologize for our recent post on managing anxiety around Coronavirus. We regret any misunderstanding it may have caused and have updated the language in our materials.”

But we must accept that the initial release was a normal reaction from within the college culture to their hyperbolic obsession with fake-diversity, inclusion, and virtue signaling.
