Trump-Hating Media Whore Michael Avenatti Convicted of Extortion – Could get 42-Years in Prison

Michael Avenatti rose to fame thanks to cable news. Because he was suing President Trump. His client was porn Star Stormy Daniels. The Legacy Media lionized him, gave him (and her) airtime. But then the relationship went cold because Avenatti was far worse than the accusations he laid on Trump.

Avenatti also convinced Stephanie Clifford (Stormy) to bring a defamation case against the president he couldn’t win and lost. Sue the President become a media star. His client had to pay the Presidents significant court costs and legal fees.

He has since been accused or alleged to be a deadbeat dad and a domestic abuser. The Feds are after him for fraud, embezzlement, and tax evasion. And Extortion.

He tried to extort 25 million from Nike. Sure, their shoes are made in Asian sweatshops, but they are not an aging porn star. They picked better lawyers, and, well, Avenatti was found guilty by a jury in a New York Court.

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who once represented adult film star Stormy Daniels in a lawsuit against President Trump, was found guilty Friday of trying to extort sportswear giant Nike.

A Manhattan federal jury convicted Avenatti on three counts: extortion, wire fraud and transmission of interstate communications with intent to extort. He faces up to 42 years in prison.

Avenatti’s court days are not over. Stephanie Clifford is taking him to court for defrauding her of the proceeds from her book. He also faces additional charges for the aforementioned embezzlement in another trial. And the only reason we know (or even care) about any of this, is because Cable News made him a superstar for bashing Donald Trump.
