Breaking: Michael Avenatti (Stormy Daniels Lawyer) Arrested for Domestic Violence

Michael Avenatti‘s love affair with cameras and microphones has taken a turn in a direction he may not have anticipated. The Los Angeles Police Department just arrested him on suspicion of domestic violence.

“We can confirm that today LAPD Detectives arrested Michael Avenatti on suspicion of domestic violence,” the LAPD tweeted. “This is an ongoing investigation and we will provide more details as they become available.”

Avenatti is under investigation for tax fraud, making materially false statements to Congress, and lost a defamation suit against the President for which he must pay the President’s legal fees. And now he is charged with domestic violence.

This can only improve the odds that he pursues a rumored run for President in 2020 as a Democrat.
