Ann Kuster and Another Opioid Knights of the Round Table

Congresswoman Ann Kuster recently held an opioid crisis roundtable in New Hampshire (DC). A meeting of stakeholders working out how to get more money from the federal government to address a problem created and exacerbated by Ann Kuster.

Democrats created the crisis under Obama. Their fervent objection to border security and the embrace of sanctuary policies exacerbates the problem. The only solution they envision is spending more federal tax money.

What a predictable response. Create a crisis then expand the government to “treat” the symptoms. Never the cause. Then hold public relations events like local roundtables to discuss how the Federal government can spend more of other people’s money.

“Since I first came to Congress, I’ve been talking about the opioid epidemic. I’ve been talking about the impact on New Hampshire communities. Now, we have the opportunity to pass federal legislation that can bring relief to our communities,” Kuster said.

Ann Kuster’s most recent solution is to introduce legislation to address opioid addiction treatment (in prisons). I added “opioid” to ensure there was no confusion. She is not the least bit concerned about the crisis of state and local governments’ growing addiction to federal tax money.  And why would she? If that happened for what would we need Ann Kuster?

Update: The meet did not occur in NH, but in DC. The linked article does mention addiction treatment in prisons which I left out. It has been added for clarity.
