Islam is a theocracy. It is not truly a religion. A better description is a worldview or a civilization view. There is a religious component, a requirement for submission as an act of faith. The basis of its exercise is the use of police power accompanying Sharia, which is a legal code.
Violence and intolerance
The truth seems to be that once one is in; leaving is impermissible, except under penalty of death. People think Islam is a religion of peace. They join; then find themselves stuck for life. Literally, their life is forfeit if they change their mind. It is an interesting approach to free will. How is it that such intolerance and violence is acceptable to liberal people?
Islam’s origin came about 1400 years age from Muhammad. Interestingly, there is scholarly work recognizing as predating his birth, parts of what has attribution to Muhammad . Either way, Muhammad was a pedophile warlord, who wrote down the messages from an angel. Is it coincidence all the things Islam promotes and/or condones are things popular back in the 600’s. Why is it that the majority of the world does not accept Islam’s violent intolerance?
Is there another faith, religion, or cult, which preaches death to everyone that is not a member? How can such a position be widely accepted as a requirement of god? The word that’s used for non-Muslim is infidel or kafir. If you’re not a true believer, you are an infidel and subject to being murdered. Religions are all acts of faith and belief translated into a way of life. Islam is singularly intolerant and violent.
Dealing with the non-believers
Kafir means more than non-Muslim. The original meaning of the word was concealer. It was descriptive of one who conceals the truth of Islam. The Quran says the Kafir may be deceived, plotted against, hated, enslaved, mocked and tortured. The word has been translated as unbeliever but this is really inadequate to convey its meaning. Unbeliever is logically and emotionally neutral.
Kafir is the most abusive, hateful term of prejudice in any language. Who are the Kafir? They are the People of the Book and infidels are Christians and Jews. They are also pagans who are polytheist. Kafir are all non-Islamic religions and atheists. Islam devotes a great amount of energy to the Kafir. About 64% of the Quran, about 81% of the Sira and about 37% of the Hadiths are devoted to the Kafir.
It is noteworthy that Sharia does not devote much time to the Kafir. Sharia is primarily for Muslims. Kafir have few rights so there is little to expound on. Religious Islam is what Muslims do to go to paradise and avoid Hell. What Muhammad did to Kafir was not religious. It was political. The political end of Islam is what concerns Kafirs not the religious. Do you really care how a Muslim worships? Each of us should be concerned with what they intend to do to us.
Conclusion
Islam has been around for about 1400. All who are not true believer are unsafe from this murderous cult. To Islam and its adherents, true peace in the world can only come when everyone is Muslim. There is only dar al-Islam and dar al-harb. There is only acceptance of Islam or the house of war. Islam does not tolerate much. Islam will never allow another faith to be co-existent. Still the question remains: Why does Islam stay around?
