Kanye found Jesus. I’m not sure if that explains how he also discovered that Democrats are still the party of slavery, but it sounds right. He has been reborn, not just in faith but in his faith of the nation’s founding and the commitment to freeing black Americans from Democrats yet again.
Rapper and new Christ follower Kanye West hammered Democrats in a recent interview for supporting policies that led to dependence on the federal government, fatherless homes and high abortion rates among African-Americans.
West told radio host Kurt “Big Boy” Alexander on Friday that African-Americans fought in the Civil Rights Movement for the right to have their own opinion about politics, “not the right to vote for whoever the white liberal said black people are supposed to vote for.”
A week does not go by when I don’t make similar points. That Democrats are wrecking families and trapping them on urban plantations. Harvesting votes in exchange for false promises, high crime, and a subsistence lifestyle.
Kanye is done with letting that abuse go unchallenged.
“Come on, man. This is a free man talking. Democrats had us voting Democrat for food stamps for years, bro. What you talking about? Guns in the 80s, taking the fathers out the home, Plan B, lowering our votes, making us abort children.
West is leading a new emancipation movement. His one-man effort to free Black Americans from Democrat-party slavery – a demographic that continues to overwhelmingly pick the people whom Kanye says are holding them back.
How much impact will it have? Well, he has a high enough profile that people will hear him and listen. He’s passionate about what he says, and he’s correct.
Democrats have claimed the mantle of Black America, but everything Blacks have gained in the past 150 years came at the hands of the Republicans.
Every effort to get the government out of the way so that they could enjoy the same natural rights as anyone else has been impeded by Democrats.
“That’s the Republican Party that freed the slaves,” he said. “And for a year people want to call me a ‘coon’ because I chose my right.”
“And we got the right, right? We got our own right to our opinions, right?” West said. “Somebody tell me because of my color who I’m supposed to pick as the president. You black, so you can’t like Trump.
“I ain’t never made a decision based off my color. That’s a form of slavery, mental slavery. I can’t drink from the white person’s fountain.”
It will take more than Kanye West to break this cycle, but he can encourage an army of like-minded Americans to step up and speak out as well. Maybe even a few with profiles as high as his. And that is a huge problem for Democrats.
If black Americans abandon them in any significant numbers (and they should, along with women), the Democrats could be relegated to political insignificance. It’s the only way to free us all, not just from their oppression of black Americans but socialism or peak slavery. Where everyone works for the ruling class, and nothing trickles down to anyone unless it served their political purposes.
The very thing our founders fought to end.
