Blogline of the Day – be afraid, be VERY afraid

Progressives use the Government to crowd out traditional Civil Society charitable organizations. And the Leftists have made it plain that only Government should and can be doing “good things.” To the point that they are now openly Socialist enough to be advocating the Government nationalization of complete industries.

Delaney on Medicare-for-All: “This Isn’t About Health Care, This is an Anti-Private Sector Strategy.

Obamacare was the start – not owning the means of production but caging it so that the healthcare industry (providers and insurance) became a virtual extension of the Government.

The same thing happened to formerly privately funded charities that morphed into “social services organizations” totally beholden on tax monies doled out by stupid bureaucrats and politicians participating in the crowd out (knowingly in a few cases, clueless in most).

Now, the Democrats with Medicare-for-all, either immediately with Sanders or Warren (or over some years in transition a la Amy Klobuchar) are quite open in absorbing all healthcare into Government with no more choice for consumers.  Get that???  No Choice.  Private policies will be gone.  No insurance will be allowed to duplicate what the Govt does.

This is the best example of the Socialist bent of the Democrats because while they aren’t actually saying the actual words, this IS taking over the means of production.  Everyone in that audience will, in effect, work for Government.

By fiat or ramming legislation through the process, the resulting message is the same: “We hate the private sector so we will control it.  We DO know better than you what is best for you.  No choices”.  It is the abject rejection that people can run their own lives without government.

And given that, what will the next industry that Feds, run by Democrat Socialists, take over?  Sadly, we are heading onto the on-ramp that leads to the end of “Live Free or Die“.
