Quick Shot: Is Ilhan Omar The New Democrat Party Spokesperson for Jewish Outreach?

Pelosi’s one-eighty has turned a rebuke of antisemitism to an embrace as a matter of Democrat policy. An act of self-service rather than sacrifice. What could have been a hedge against hate has become another meaningless gesture that has promoted Ilhan Omar to the role of spokesperson for policy on Jews.

It will now become official Democrat policy to dismiss smears against Jews as misinterpreted or taken out of context. Persistent calls for walk backs or apologies from Mulsim members will be dismissed as Islamophobia.

Ben Shapiro has a deeper look here but it can be summed up with this.

The Democrats are banking on their new intersectional coalition. If that means ignoring, downplaying, or outright lying about anti-Semitism, they’re willing to do it. And everyone, particularly American Jews, should take note of that vile but clear fact.

Does that mean it is easier for Pelosi to control the Jews in her caucus than it is the Muslims and their energetic team diversity backers?

By the way, there’s not a thing wrong with diversity as long as it includes a diversity of opinion. Sadly, as we’ve often explored, with the Democrat Party that is not the case. Not even when it comes to antisemitism.
