And the Democrats are openly derisive of us, too. While Obama (“bitter clingers”) and Hillary (“deplorables, irredeemables”) openly called we who oppose them politically and culturally, many don’t SAY it but DO it. Yes, NH Democrats have also said what they think of us and our Rights, all one really has to do is look at their actions (legislation, votes). Sure, they want to make it seem like they are “looking out for your best well being”, and it may sound “nice”, but when you pop the hood up and look closely, it is clear They. Don’t. Trust. You. At. All.
They take away choice, they take your money. Why? They believe that they know how to spend your money better than you do. They believe you don’t make the right choices in your lives – so they feel morally superior in “guiding” the rest of us. Just like that 29 year old failed-BU-alum-bartender-straight-to-Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Ortes KNOWS more than those of us who have signed both sides of a paycheck, paid way more taxes than she has, had oodles of experience that she has yet to experience, and have earned our diplomas from the School of Hard Knocks several times over while she get the silver platter treatment (er, at least for now).
They believe we are all slow, dim-witted, lost-in-the-past, unwilling to change, can’t understand why we won’t get with their programs; fill in your own <blank here>.
Yet, they never contemplate that as they push out this message, intentional or not, that they believe we really are “washed up and pathetic”, they can’t understand why we like someone that says “I am with you and I believe in this great nation”.
They drip with condescendment; he smiles and says “Thank you”.
They are confused.

Yep, as has been noted that AOC is more concerned with being “morally correct” than getting facts straight.

She has lost the connection that morality does need to be factually correct as well. Or as Dave Blount put it:
“Morally right” in this context means “left-wing.” The farther left, the more morally right. This would make enslaving the population and collapsing the economy with her Pol Pot-esque Green New Deal the ne plus ultra of moral rectitude.
