Granite Wind Update. Podesta, Another Major Dem Donor, And More…

While posting an updated version of the NH/Granite Wind post my research turned up a few more details worth visiting.

Brookfield, the company that owns GraniteWind and is tied to the $168 million dollar Obama green-loan for a wealthy conglomerate (Brookfield) that doesn’t even need the money, didn’t just have ties to Zucotti park and George Soros.  It is worth noting that Brookfield Power and Brookfield Asset Management?  use Heather Podesta?’s Lobbying firm.  There is also an even larger shareholder in Brookfield; Martin J. Whitman, who is also a major Democrat donor, who stands to benefit from the project and the loan.

Additionally, I originally reported back on 10/13/2011 that Tom Colgan, the guy behind Freshet Wind, the other partner in the Granite Wind project and also a benefactor of the Federal loan,  donated $500.00 to New Hampshire Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen in an off year.  Shaheen sits on several committees relating to energy, and renewable energy.  (plenty of links and info here.)  Turns out he also gave $500.00 to Main Street Green Energy advocate Charlie Bass’ 2010 campaign.  Bass, a RINO, now sits on the House Committee for Energy and Commerce.

And one other discovery.  Tom Colgan of Freshet, also of Wagner Forrest Management, and a series of Wagner Wind energy concerns, (see "plenty of links.." above for that evidence) also received a federal green energy wind farm loan this year for $102 Million; this for a project in Maine which I first reported at allrightmagazine.com while doing a cross post of my original report.

Still digging.  There is clearly more going on here.  We’ll get to the bottom of it.
