Former State Senator Dick Ferdinando & Marilyn Huston Endorse Steve Negron for Congress Nashua, NH – Former State Senator Dick Ferdinando & Marilyn Huston endorsed Steve Negron for Congress today in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District.

“President Trump needs conservative outsiders such as Steve Negron to serve in Congress. This country needs a candidate with Steve’s background in national security, immigration reform, military service, and small business experience to lead the President’s agenda at this critical juncture. I endorse Steve for the same mission I endorsed President Trump – to reform Washington’s culture in keeping our country safe and truly Make America Great Again.”

Tim Lord – candidate for NH State House, Hillsborough County District 3 (Bennington, Greenfield and Hancock)

My name is Tim Lord and I’m running for State Representative (Republican) for Hillsborough County District 3.

I’ve been coming to New Hampshire since I was 3 years old and I’ve lived full-time in Hancock for the past 10 years. I know this state; we are famous for our Yankee ingenuity, our work ethic, our frugality with a dollar, our community service and our willingness to help a neighbor in need. We love our woods, water and wildlife and the clean air we breathe and the fresh water we drink. Yet, even with all these advantages, our towns are slipping behind in some key areas that concern me, and I believe we can do better.

Peterborough Bringing Heavy Equipment to “Adjust” Local Gun Club “Property”

By Mark Carbone – President Monadnock Rod and Gun Club

I’m writing Granite Grok today to let you know that the Town of Peterborough is treating us unfairly. Our attorney, Penny Dean along with our VP Tom Harvey, Secretary Jim Pickford and Board Member Martin Bowen are onsite to receive the Town this morning.  I will be there in an hour or so.

Under the guise of Code Enforcement/Assessment, the Town and police are set to arrive some 7 minutes ago with heavy equipment. My first notice was last night after 5 with a personal voicemail that just asked me to return a call to the Chief of Police, Scott Guinard that included zero details. I only got a more complete story hours later from our attorney who received an email.

Again attorney Dean is onsite, and WMUR has reported that they will be there.

Linda Rea Camarota – candidate for NH State House, Hillsborough County District 7 (Bedford)

Linda Rea Camarota - 1My name is Linda Rea Camarota and I am a Republican House Representative candidate running in Hillsborough District 7-Bedford. I am a long time Constitutional Conservative and Republican. I believe in local control, limited government, accountability and transparency.

There is a Primary in Bedford. I need my supporters to go out and vote for me on September 11 at the Bedford High School. After winning the Primary, I then need your support at the General Election on November 6.

My husband, Michael, and I have resided in Bedford for the past 30+ years. As a parent, I strive to protect children and, in that mission, I strongly advocate for parental rights. As a medical professional, I believe in protecting citizens’ privacy rights, including school-aged children. School safety is of special interest to me. I was on my high school’s Safety Committee for many years. For the past 3 years, I have attended the Annual Emergency Preparedness Conference to learn from the experts how to be proactive as it relates to school safety. Each year, sessions covered how to respond in instances such as an active shooter.

As you may know, the New Hampshire Executive Council has voted in the past to approve funding for abortion clinics here in the Granite State.

Although Planned Parenthood advertises itself as an organization promoting health care for women and families, it IS the nation’s largest abortion provider and has been repeatedly plagued by scandal and abuse. It is a private organization that shouldn’t be funded by taxpayers.

Global Warming Part 2: The Science – so bad it’s not even wrong

By Eddie
Einstein Relatively Equation(Image H/T: allpoetry.com)
Fair warning: This will get a little “sciencey” but don’t fear it can’t get too “sciencey” since I’m not a scientist (now I’m sounding like a Republican).

Let’s start with Newton’s LAWS of Motion and Gravitation. Huh? I know, I’m taking you down another path, but I’ll get to the point eventually. Let’s talk about his 2nd LAW of motion which states that F=MA (force = mass times acceleration). Let’s say that I don’t believe this. There is simply not enough evidence of this LAW. It can’t be true. “What is your alternate theory?” You might ask. It’s not F=MA, that’s for sure. I pushed real hard against my car and it didn’t move an inch. I also have a brother who skydives. He tells me that he stops accelerating after a few seconds. You might reply with explanations of ‘vector sum of forces’, ‘coefficients of static friction’ and ‘wind resistance’. I could keep going, but the point is that I DON’T have a theory. I am simply denying the only theory present. I had a college Physics professor who had a term for this. He would say “It’s so bad, it’s not even wrong.”

Is Gunstock really being run to the benefit of its owners?

300px-GunstockMountainResort_GilfordNH_LOGO

“that the area is not being operated for the benefit of the county citizens and the Gunstock Commission recognizes no responsibility to do so.”

By NH State Representative Marc Abear

[Answer is “NO”.  They ought to privatize it as running a ski area is not a Proper Role of Government.  Neither is monopolizing liquor sales -Skip.  Lightly reformatted, emphasis mine]

To The Daily Sun,

The best government comes about when we the people are informed and involved. Gunstock is a case in point. It is important that the people of Belknap County grasp how Gunstock is being operated, for whom, and why.

“When are Democrats and Republicans going to hold their own party to account?”

By Eddie

ObamaHitlerBushitlerWe hear it all the time Nazi, Fascist, Hitler. The comparisons are routine and common place. What recent President hasn’t been compared to the third Reich in some fashion? Democrats call Republicans fascists and vice versa. It is probably the most overused metaphor, analogy, comparison or derogatory name used in politics… and outside of politics. We all know the Soup Nazi (from the Seinfeld show). We call ISIS Islamo-fascists, whatever that means. Fox is the Nazi channel (according to liberals). The theme appears to be that Nazi’s are bad people.

What is Fascism anyhow? According to Webster it is a philosophy that puts nation before the individual. It often has a racial connotation as well. While racism may not have escaped our constitution, nationalism did.

Global Warming Part 1: How Liberals Think

By Eddie

If you hadn’t heard – They are floating another name change for Global Warming.

(Image H/T: The Editors)

I know what’s going through your mind right now: “What? Liberals think?” As much as this might sound like an oxymoron, how liberals and conservatives come to certain conclusions is instructive. I might as well get this out of the way. I don’t have any special insight as to how liberals really think. I can tell you how I came to my conclusions and I have learned a lot based on responses to my earlier post on the topic of global warming.

For me it started in 2006. Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth came out and well, pretty much anything that Al says has got to be true, especially after all the work that he did programming the internet. I don’t think anything that anyone can say after that can convince me otherwise.

Did you actually believe that?

Steve Negron to Rep. Kuster:

“Cancel Your Ticket”

Nashua, NH – Today Steve Negron shared the opinion of one Mexican immigrant family on the crisis at the border, his own. The many subtopics of concern involve the out-of-touch nature of a professional lobbyist-turned-politician racing to the border to get a photo opportunity just in time for the November elections.

“A Member of Congress racing to the Mexican border to observe families being separated by a bureaucracy largely ignored by the Democratic Party is simply public policy malfeasance.

Picking on Denmark part 2: Notes from the field

June 17, 2018: Copenhagen, Denmark

After the posting on Denmark last week, I thought I should go there and see for myself. Ok, not completely true, but I am here in Copenhagen, passing through on a previously planned business trip. I spent a relaxing afternoon wandering around town, observing. This was not my first visit to Copenhagen and my personal impression is that the people here are freer than Americans, at least in some ways. So let’s see.

Kevin Miller: There is One Word that Truly Describes Steve Shurtleff…Charlatan

steve-shurtleff

By Kevin Miller

House Minority Leader Stephen Shurtleff bashed Republican leadership for not passing gun control laws to “make our schools safer.” Such attacks on Republican leaders are slander. Republican leaders *are* passing legislation expressly for making our schools safer, but not how Shurtleff wants it done.

When Stephen Shurtleff took office, he swore to uphold the constitution. However, ever since he entered the State House, Shurtleff has done nothing but betrayed that promise, voting for legislation that overrides the U.S. Constitution, removing the rights of NH citizens. There is one word that truly describes Shurtleff…a charlatan, a con man who promises one thing and delivers another.
