Did Governor Sununu think the 22,000 pro-gun, constitution-loving people who showed up in Virginia were actually supporters of anti-gun legislation, or does he think, like governor Northam, that we no longer matter?

NH House Report – January 17, 2020
To my constituents in Allenstown, Epsom, & Pittsfield: This week, the House started in on the new 2020 bills, with a flood of public hearings. So there were many fewer bills to me to report on, but more data on most of them. I presented my HB 1412 to the Education Committee. This bill requires … Read more
Lonely (for now) legislators push sales, income taxes
A bill to tax sales of electronics in New Hampshire made news this week, and the bemused media coverage it drew was justified. Yet New Hampshire Union Leader State House Bureau Chief Kevin Landrigan saw a different, and more important, angle.
President Trump Has Brought Prosperity to America and We Must Protect It
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has at last rolled her Sisyphean boulder of impeachment to the top of Capitol Hill. There it teeters, awaiting a flick of Mitch McConnell’s finger to send it careening back down, squashing every 2020 Democrat hopeful in its path. The Speaker is like a bank robber, who, holding a … Read more

Don’t let emotions get in the way of trapping facts
To The Daily Sun, N.H. selling trapped wildlife for $8 each a fair price? I believe that has already been determined by New Hampshire wildlife professionals, biologists, and trappers. Before LDSun readers get emotional over this issue, they may like to do some educational (facts/data) research. I suggest first going to the NH Fish and … Read more
Honor your oath: For Whom does the General Court Work?
Does the NH General Court (NH House, NH Senate) only serve the will of the political parties and no longer the will of the people?

Recently, the Nashua Assessing Office upgraded its software and uploaded new 2019 property record cards (PRC’s) for the public to access online. Unfortunately, the data from the old software doesn’t seem to have transferred to the correct fields in the new software and property cards are incorrect.

Nashua: Rigged Elections and Taxpayer Funded Electioneering
Does this email, sent by a teachers union representative to district staff using school district electronic mailboxes, sound like electioneering to you? “You sent around the election stuff on Friday. This absence has been a combination of both having higher priorities – family, for a large part – … Read more
A few things I will never understand.
1. How 2 atoms smashing together created the galaxy, and as far as we know, infinite galaxies. I mean they are experimenting with this with the CERN accelerator and we don’t have more galaxies being made.
I Miss The Old Jennifer Horn
I miss the old Jennifer Horn. When you were just starting out in politics in New Hampshire. You were reasonable and you had real Republican ideals. It is very disappointing to see such a decline from those principles over the years.
