Where, oh where, have we heard about wanting to upend our current systems???

Socialists…..enemies of capitalism….income inequality…..people before profits……destroy the current system.  We heard this all before and when they followed, it didn’t work out well for anyone, did it? And yet, that’s what we hear all the time, isn’t it.  Remember, part of that overthrow was abandoning The Rule of Law; what are we seeing today? And … Read more

Notable Quote – Theodore Dalrymple

“In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. Did NH State Trooper Sgt Sean Haggerty talk to Rebecca Blank? Both on the taxpayer dole, advocating against

Sgt Sean Haggerty has made a place for himself with the NH Conservatives crowd – and not necessary a “cool” one.  We DO resent someone who is being paid with our hard earned money advocate against our Rights (re: SB116).  And I WILL go that next point – I think the reverse is wrong, too.  I really don’t believe that someone in government, on the taxpayer dime, should be doing advocacy testimony.  Period.  Not their place and certainly not in their official capacity.  To give a straight laced, fact only report at the behest of our elected leaders?  Yes, and desired in some cases, but it should be completely devoid of any whispers of subjective opinion.  You want to do that – take a day off, show up in civvies, and announce your name and town rather than in uniform and badge (video after the jump).

But here’s another example (reformatted, emphasis mine) – Instapundit: “Taxpayer-Funded U. Wisconsin Chancellor Spends Her Days Lobbying Alumni Against Scott Walker“.

Rebecca Blank, the taxpayer-funded chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has sent a number of emails to alumni openly lobbying against a budget proposed by Republican Gov. Scott Walker that includes cuts to higher education.  A Feb. 18 email from Blank blatantly implores alumni to call state legislators to complain about the proposed education cuts.

“If you choose to contact your legislator on behalf of the university, I encourage you to thank them for engaging in an active discussion about the university budget, tell them you recognize that the state is facing a difficult budget situation and that the university must do its share along with other state agencies, but that a budget cut of the magnitude called for in the proposed budget is just too big and will have a significant negative impact on UW-Madison and its students,” Blank propagandizes in the email obtained by The Daily Caller.

SB116 Testimony: Londonderry Fish & Game Club President (and Grokster!) Rick Olsen

Courtesy of Ken Parks, Jr is Rick Olson’s testimony on SB116 (the “Constitutional Carry” bill which would have NH follow in Vermont’s footsteps: legal to own a firearm?  Then you can open carry or concealed carry.  No asking “Nanny, may I?” to exercise a plainly written NH Constitutional Right): It has passed the Senate, now … Read more

Bill Nye – the Anti-Semite Guy

Bill NyeRiffing off Steve’s post of “Bill Nye The Actor-Guy” is Nye’s “victim shaming” of the Jews in Europe who are facing more and more anti-Semite attacks – and it certainly looks like it is being driven by the Islamic in-flow as Europe embraced massive low income Muslim immigration.  Who, pretty much, are looking to assimilate into their new homes and aren’t all that hep on making nice on the Jewish communities long established.  Lots of euphemisms have been spilt in the cover ups over the attacks, notable the “youths” in France who have caused many of the attacks that have made it into the press.

Here, the bumbling Nye sticks his foot into it and blames…..wait for it……wait….not the Muslims but the

Ready for Hillary – what’s her logo, you ask?

Gosh, it took me a whole nanosecond to answer the question – and for FREE, too!

Clinton and her image-makers are sketching ways to refresh the well-established brand for tomorrow’s marketplace. In their mission to present voters with a winning picture of the likely candidate, no detail is too big or too small — from her economic opportunity agenda to the design of the “H” in her future campaign logo.

“It’s exactly the same as selling an iPhone or a soft drink or a cereal,” said Peter Sealey, a longtime corporate marketing strategist. “She needs to use everything a brand has: a dominant color, a logo, a symbol. .?.?. The symbol of a Mercedes is a three-pointed star. The symbol of Coca-Cola is the contour bottle. The symbol of McDonald’s is the golden arches. What is Clinton’s symbol?

Here, try this – it’s PERFECT:

US Rep Trey Gowdy gives a warning on The Rule of Law that ALL should listen to

“You may benefit from the president’s failure to enforce the law today.  But I’ll make you this promise; there will come a day where you will cry out for the enforcement of the law. There will come a day when you long for the law to be the foundation of this Republic.  So you be careful what you do with the law today, because if you weaken it today, you weaken it forever.

UPDATE: It’s an annoying auto-play video so I’ve just put it after the jump.  You should listen to it because it perfectly encapsulates one of the biggest problems in the country today:

Breaking: US Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) votes to fund Obama’s unConstitutional Executive Amnesty

illegal alien sign

Update: This should have gone up last night (e.g. Breaking) but I lost Internet just before hitting PUBLISH…sorry)

Go ahead, I DARE you to now tell me the difference between the Republicans and the Democrats in voting to fully fund the parts of DHS that Obama will use to work his (own words) illegal Executive Amnesty.  I guess now we really now know that Kelly Ayotte was against Amnesty for illegal aliens before (during her campaign) and now is for Amnesty – she just voted to fund it – showing that she’s willing to use our money to show us she “evolved” on the issue (as she was quite strident about support Amnesty until all those kids came across our border and she clammed up real quick about it).

Only TWO Republican Senators stood on Principles: Sessions and Inhofe.  A very sad commentary on the rest of the chickens.

Via Instapundit (reformatted, emphasis mine): Breaking stalemate, Senate votes 98-2 to debate ‘clean’ DHS bill

The stalemate over funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was broken Wednesday as the Senate voted 98-2 to proceed to legislation that would prevent a partial government shutdown. Democrats agreed to support the DHS bill after Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) stripped out provisions inserted by the House that would reverse President Obama’s executive actions on immigration.  The only votes against proceeding to the bill came from Sens. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) and Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.).

So, the Senate Republicans did what a lot of us feared – they caved, fearing more for their seats than what was right in fulfilling their oaths.  Shameful.  Those that put all they were on the link when they signed the Declaration of Independence must be spinning in their graves with screams of WTF!  Old Ben was right – “if you can keep it

Actually, Senator Lindsey Graham, the GOP will be blamed for something else!

LINDSEY GRAHAM BELIEVES GOP WILL GET BLAMED FOR DEFUNDING HOMELAND SECURITY

Moderate Republican South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) mantra, believes Republicans will be blamed if the Department of Homeland Security is not funded over objections to President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty…On This Week, Graham called for Congress to pass an unencumbered Homeland Security bill so Republicans do not get blamed for the department’s shutdown…“I hope my House colleagues will understand that our best bet is to challenge this in court, that if we don’t fund the Department of Homeland Security, we’ll get blamed as a party,” Graham said.

Er, no.  You know what it WILL be blamed for?  The Conservative base will finally show its disgust for you chuckleheads not living up to campaign promises – again.  All we heard was “Stop Obama! We’ll Stop Obama!”.  The worst was the overall thrust “you MUST elect us – we are your last hope!” and now we see the utter collapse of what ever political courage they had.  We’ve listed for years of “Give us the House!” and so we did.  Then we started to realize they weren’t serious: “Oh, we’re only 1/2 of 3 parts of Government”; true, but it disavowed their campaign wailings.  And then it turned into “Oh Wait!  All we need is the Senate!” and thus, we did – the base gave them a majority.  Vim and Vinegar, we assumed and anticipated.  No more Harry Reid to gum up the works, we were told. Now?

I guess this shows that Democrats hate The Rule of Law

Executive Orders?  Ignoring court decisions?  No problem the first and and feel free to pay no attention to the second.  They ought to be REAL careful for what they wish for; from CNSNews (reformatted, emphasis mine):

Rasmussen: Plurality of Democrats think Obama should be able to ignore court rulings if it’s “important”

…Turns out, in fact, that they’re willing to go even further than he is. Obama tends to limit himself to summarily rewriting federal statutes, like immigration laws and ObamaCare’s employer mandate. Democrats wonder: Why not rewrite some federal court rulings too?

Legislature, Judicial, Executor – why NOT do it all, these horribly dangerous people are thinking?  King Obama I, such a lovely ring to it…

Is Obama a Christian?

Marines Cross PendletonCertainly the Mainstream Media is hammering the presumed Republican Prez nominees if Obama is a Christian or not, for instance (reformatted, emphasis mine):

Gov. Scott Walker: ‘I don’t know’ whether Obama is a Christian

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a prospective Republican presidential contender, said Saturday he does not know whether President Obama is a Christian.  “I don’t know,” Walker said in an interview at the JW Marriott hotel in Washington, where he was attending the winter meeting of the National Governors Association.  Told that Obama has frequently spoken publicly about his Christian faith, Walker maintained that he was not aware of the president’s religion.  “I’ve actually never talked about it or I haven’t read about that,” Walker said, his voice calm and firm. “I’ve never asked him that,” he added. “You’ve asked me to make statements about people that I haven’t had a conversation with about that.

I actually thought that was a decent answer.  However, Obama himself said something that would tend to answer that question:

.223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights – NH State Reps Ed Comeau and Dan Itse

Getting near the end for posting up videos from the .223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights on Saturday – in fact, this is the next to last post to cover them all.  Founder & owner of Government Oversite and now (Yay!) NH State Rep Ed Comeau talks about why he came to NH – he was tired of always having to ask “Nanny, may I” when it came to his Second Amendment Rights.   Also here is NH State Rep Dan Itse, NH’s Constitutional scholar and historian – you can’t figure out where yer goin’ if you don’t know where you’ve been and the make up of that foundational road!

Last call at the .223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights: Skip Murphy and Susan Olsen

Last call, last post.  Last speaker – that would be me.  Do our Rights come from God, or as CNN commentator Chris Cuomo holds, from men in collective compromises?  Always remember:

The Bigger The Government, the smaller the citizen

And Susan Olsen, organizer of this .223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights event, closed out the afternoon – job well done:

.223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights: NH State Rep Carol McGuire and Grokster Kimberly Morin

Continuing on with the videos from the “.223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights” rally! One of the most dedicated fighters for liberty is NH State Representative Carolyn McGuire.  Soft spoken should not be taken lightly with her – she means what she says.  On the other end of the spectrum, no one could accuse Kimberly Morin as being “sedate”.  In fact, Ben Sarro introduced her as “Da Fighter!”.  Do NOT cross her – you will find her to be more than a match for any Tasmanian devil in fierceness (and you will see a tad of that in the video):

.223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights: NH State Rep John Burt and NH State Senator Gary Daniels

You know, it just hit me.  I’ve already put up the videos of good, solid and conservative / liberty minded elected officials – this post has two more.  But what I did realize, even as there were other good, solid, and conservative / liberty minded elected officials in the .223 Rally – 2015 Defending Your Rights crowd, I did not see a single one that would have fit the description of “Establishment GOPer”.  Not a single one.  I hear, sometimes, they’re in favor of the Second Amendment….but put themselves out in the freezing cold?  Show their face to staunch supporters?

Show up and support those that had a big effect on the top of the ticket races this past November?  Sorry, no face time with you!

But both of these folks did and they were proud to have done so!  Thanks gents!
