According to Caddell Associates, which conducted the poll, “[t]here is an overwhelming sense on the part of American voters that they want to find common ground in order to protect both the expression of religious freedom and the rights of gays and lesbians.”  Those that were polled overwhelmingly made clear that they believed that religious individuals’ rights must be protected.

And remember, Pat Caddell was Bill Clinton’s former pollster, so he is Democrat leaning.  A bit more with numbers (emphasis mine):

Why the Concord Monitor would ask Fergus “The Fringe” Cullen questions; he’s a nitwit that should not have been allowed to be within 100 meters (really, meters, Fergus?) of a reporter with a notebook or a recorder?  After all, this is the NH GOP Chair that suffered the WORST losses in the NH House and Senate EVAH! And the Party’s finances at the time?  And to date, has not been re-elected to the NH GOP Committee since being replaced as chair, by Republican voters, by Papa Smurf.  This dope is supposed to be considered “a political Smart Person”?

This was, what I thought, a decent piece on Corey Lewandowski who is now Trump’s campaign manager and I first met when he was the NH Exec Dir for Americans for Prosperity.  In it, we see that while he lives in ignominy, Cullen still tried to throw manure Corey.  Right, a verifiable loser throwing it at someone who has been verifiably winning:

I’ve never made it a priority to “write for the rankings” – I write for me.  I write because I like to on topics that are of interest to me – else why bother as no one is paying me to do it.  Ditto for the wonderful writers that volunteer their time and talent.  But when someone comes up with a ranking, I do look – just in case I could be surprised.

Well, Doug Ross over at Doug Ross @ Journal (aka http://directorblue.blogspot.in) has such a list – a ranking based on Alexa listings of the top right of center blogsites with those 300 top ones with Alexa global (not just US standings) ranking from 196 for FoxNews.com at #1 to astuteblogger.BlogSpot.com with a ranking of 1664275.

And no, we were not listed.  Shoulda though – for a state level blog in a very small state, our Alexa global ranking is 681,238.  Our US ranking is higher: 243,676 when I looked us up, so we could have ended up on that list at #241 (see image).  That’s with millions upon hundreds of millions in the blogosphere.  I guess we punch, very well, above our weight class – thank you, Readers!

The weather last nite promised that the Dog Days of Summer were finally going to arrive here in NH; hot, hazy, humid pretty much all week long.  We’ve been lucky, IMHO, that we’ve had little of “heat waves” (e.g., 3 contigious days of 90+ degrees) for quite some time.  For a guy who waits all summer for February, this has been good news!  This week, however, not so much.  But in a couple of weeks, the weather will be turning nippier and I’ll be able to take out the air conditioners – and get ready for what comes next. I think this is great advice:

Planned Parenthood – the dehumanization of children.  Isn’t that what the Nazis did to the Jews?  And no, I am not breaking Godwin’s Law?  Dehumanize to kill – and then to profit from it. How is this any different than what the Nazis did at their death camps – Nazis harvested even the gold teeth and also experimented on their prisoners.  How, pray tell, is this any different?  They were killed for who they were.

So are these babies – killed for who they would never become.  Because they could.

That’s the headline at The Hill (via Instapundit) – and I do believe that the Establishment is in full disarray (and anger) over the developments in the 2016 Presidential Primary races.  No, not all are expressing it, or if they are, it is in words that have a heavy, heavy veneer over them.  Yet, there are a lot of Establishmentarians that are full in revolt – and if you watch Fox, you have watched George Will have as much of an emotional meltdown as he ever has.

It’s like they believe they own the Party or something.  They DO believe they own your votes – that is clear.  What did The Hill have to say (reformatted, emphasis mine)?

Outsiders who have never before held political office are dominating the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

If you look at the most recent poll, I would say that fully 5 of the top 7 are certainly either non-politicians or non-establishmentarians: Trump, Carson, Cruz, then Bush (Est.),  Huckabee, Walker, Fiorina.  Am willing to quibble on Huckabee and while Cruz is a sitting senator, he is certainly outside of the DC Repub clique and the Establishment one.
